Not real sure what you are asking for. Is this a photo request we fulfilled or are you asking us to go find your relative, somewhere around Spanish Fort?

RE: William Nelson Hazlewood
Hello John Moore,

Glad to hear from a cousin, although it is a very distant cousin.
Since you are familiar with Find-a-Grave you know that I have photos of the gravestone on the grave site of William Nelson Hazlewood, my grandfather, in the "Genoa" cemetery. I do have some genealogical information on his descendants. The only info I have on his parents are what I obtained from the entry on the 1860? census. I'm writing this from memory while away from my genealogical info, so I might be off a little.

I know that one of my uncles mentioned Simon Hughes Hazlewood name and a "Rhoda" as being a brother and sister of William Nelson. When I found William Nelsons name in the 1860 census and then again in the 1870 census along with Simon I was delighted with the verification.

We can discuss the information more later on, and off the public site.

Your cousin (twice/thrice removed?),
Kenneth McGowen

Martins
John, I tried to contact you at the email address you left for me but it would not go thru. William and Parlee Martin were my great grandparents. Their daughter, Mattie Jane Martin Gortney was my grandmother. I tried to email you a scanned copy of the picture of them but it would not go thru. Contact me again if you are interested in getting a copy of this picture.

Who was your 3x grandparents? I knew that several of the Vinson sisters married several of the Martin brothers. I think it was 4. I know for a fact that there were 3.
