Right to the front of Hugh's tombstone is Mary Shipley Feb. 2, 1875-June 11, 1949.
I thought you might want to add it and I will add the photo.
Let me know I guess by requesting a photo. This is the only Shipleys that I found in the cemetery.

|Timothy Ward||Ramages in Hampton Cemetery|
I took photos of all of the memorials in the Hampton Cemetery outside of Smithland, Kentucky a couple months ago and did not find any Ramages. There are, however, Ramages mathcing the first names and dates from your requests in the New Hampton Cememtery, which is located in Hampton, Kentucky. Post your photo requests there and I will stop by and take pictures of their memorials for you.

I haven't given up on finding his grave. I walked most of the cemetery several times last Friday with one of the caretakers. Now, he is going to help me try to find him. Do you know of any other family members he has at Wofford Cemetery? It may help us locate him.

Oh, I'm sorry. No wonder you can't see it. There are two memorials for her. One has the wrong birth year and the owner is inactive so there's no way to contact her to change it so I put the picture on the other one. The month is wrong on that one but I emailed the owner and asked him to change it. It takes time because he is busy but I think he will change it.
Sorry about the mix-up.

Double click the picture and it comes up larger so you can read it. I live in Georgia and only visit there once a year so it will be May 2013 before I visit again.

|M. A. Claxton||RE: Wilkinson Burton|
I thought that perhaps this had been cleared up, but the person who posted this cemetery has not made this correction. There is no such person as Wilkinson Burton.
If you will look at the photos for Robert Aden Burton and Mary Etta Bucy Burton (in Maplewood), you will see where the mistake was made. HIS stone reads, in part, "Married Etta Bucy Wilkinson" and then lists their children. HER stone does not mention the Wilkinson. But . . .
In Puryear City Cemetery is a listing for Mary E. Wilkinson, b. 12 NOV 1898 (same birth date as our Etta Burton above) - but her entry has no death date. The listing in the books (cemetery and vital stats) shows she was the wife of George L. Wilkinson who died in 1922. So . . .
the listing for Mary Etta Bucy Burton in Maplewood should also include her marriage to George L. Wilkinson with a link to him in Puryear City Cemetery.
I have sent this correction to the person who posted these cemeteries, but have had no action so far. I am expecting her to fix the problem sometime this week; if not I will contact Find A Grave about it.
This was due to a misreading of Robert Aden Burton's stone many years ago and, unfortunately, it was not corrected when the cemetery book was published in 1984.
I am so sorry for the confusion.
