A. A. Anderson- Florida National Cemetery
Section 626, Grave No. 1568

The photo which I took is that of a temporary marker. I asked cemetery employees when Mr. Andersen's permanent marker should be completed and placed. Apparently the average time is two months.

On that basis, you may want to request another photo for Andersen about mid-August 2015.

Tombstones added for her parents. Let me know if you would like the memorials transferred to you. I added several other McNelis family members from St. Gabe's as well.

RE: David Brown
Does the letter give the number of the burial plot? Even so, I guess I could take the letter to the city office and see if they can help me. So yes, please send it. Thanks.

There is no David Brown listed as being buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery. I will check around though when I try to find
Annie Brown's grave.

RE: Thank you
Hi Diane,

As you know I photographed the whole cemetery a few months ago. I think I sent you the list of the photos that I got at the time. If not let me know and I will. It would be difficult(more time consuming) for me to go through and find which ones of the memorials are yours. If you send me a list of yours that are on my photo list I will be glad to give them priority. I do plan to post all of them as time permits. Again, glad to be of help.

Doug

Ran into a dead end trying to find Obit for Nettie. Free Press says their records don't go back that far. A copy may be at Lenoir Community College in the Genealogy Section.

RE: Naomi Green
Diane,

You're quite welcome.

Naomi Green is buried next to Frank Green, who from the inscriptions I take it was her husband. Behind Naomi and Frank are Florence Green and what I assume was her husband Hiram.

From the Hebrew, Frank and Hiram were most likely brothers. Frank's Hebrew name was Ephraim Moshe ben Yosef ha Cohen. Hiram's name is Chaim ben Yosef ha Cohen. They most likely have the same father, who most likely was named Joseph Green.

If you click on the picture I took of the the family's section, which I included in Naomi's entry, you should be able to zoom in on each one. It is a decent resolution.

Matt

RE: Photo Request
You are very welcome. Also established a memorial for Claude. Let me know if you want a transfer. And, now that I have gotten a chart of the cemtery section, will be getting a pic of Claudia's probably unmarked site as well some time this week. It was Sunday when there so office was closed. Also sending along an extra something regarding Claude & Helene by email in case you didn't already have it.

RE: Charlie H. Williams
Diane,

Charlie was resting next to "Evie C. Williams." (I took a picture of her marker and posted it as well.) Could the C. be for Carrie? Given their similar birth/death dates and that they are next to each other, it would suggest they may have been married (or siblings). Although there are several other Williams graves in the cemetery, none were around Charlie and Evie's markers. doc

RE: Julio Borja
Beautiful stones there, and near the statue and a tree (I think I remember one). Anyway, most of the others in the area are not as handsome nor are they clean and the grass trimmed away. Someone placed the flowers there for both, so it is obvious they are remembered and always in the hearts of those who loved them.
