My parents headstone picture
thank you so much for taking the picture of my parents headstone Richard and Ruth Dieter! The last time I got to see it was when I scattered my moms ashes on her side of the stone. I really appreciate getting this picture thank you again.

Kevin Kleckner
Jennie Kleckner Cross
Thanks so much for adding a grave picture for Aunt Jennie.
I've added a picture of the Reverend Cross on his memorial if you are interested.
I had her listed as born in Kent, and you pointed out the cemetery record has her born in Pearl City. Pearl City is likely more correct than Kent, but the family was living on a 40 acre farm near Loran. I suspect she was born there, but her father was away at the Civil War, and her mom could well have been staying in Pearl City at the time. The family moved to Pearl City in 1865.
Thanks again!

RE: Jesse Holly
Yesterday I went to the Dixon Library and looked up their cemetery listing for Franklin Grove. This list came from a cemetery walk that was done in 1990, I believe. Whoever did it at that time listed that stone as saying "Grandfather." And they found no other Hollys in the cemetery (nor have I). There is a Holley, but of a much later vintage. For now I think I'm going to delete my "Unknown Holly" and add those photos to Jesse's memorial page. Thanks for your input!

Ainsworth Grave Marker
Thank you so much for posting the photo of the grave marker for Henry C. Ainsworth and his wife, Emma Miller Ainsworth. You have provided a tremendous service for me and the other genealogists in this line of the Ainsworth family.

RE: Jesse Holly
I took a photo of the top of my "unknown" Holly in Franklin Grove Cemetery and posted it. It's really hard to make out, but I think it may say "Grandfather." Do you think it may simply be another marker for Jesse Holly, and should not be on a separate memorial page?

Jesse Holly
You're absolutely right... I think when I made the memorial I couldn't believe there was someone that old in Franklin Grove.... so I assumed that it was the son of David Holly, also named Jesse. Makes me want to go back and take a look at my unknown Holly in that cemetery to see if I can make out the name written across the top. I know I couldn't read it in person, but perhaps with a better photo I can enhance it at home. Thanks for catching my error.

Thank you so much for providing photos of the gravesites for Mary Getz, Abraham Landis, and Maria Landis. It's such a blessing to have someone help you in your search. I'm still working full time and it's hard to get to all the places. I really appreciate the time you put in to provide these to me.

Thanks again, God Bless you,
Marsha

Re: Justus Immel
I called the library in Walnut Illinois, and their official burial records for Walnut Cemetery do show Justus and Minnie Immel both buried there. Their memorials both now show burial in Walnut Cemetery. Mystery solved! Thanks again for your help on this.

Justus Immel
Thank you for looking into Justus Immel's burial location. Yes, I had seen his death record (thank you for sending it). The other thing I found is a tree on Ancestry.com owned by Loren Wolf which says that both Justus and his wife are buried in Walnut Cemetery in Walnut, IL. However, I can't seem to find a way to contact the cemetery, and can't find their records online. FindAGrave does not list either of them. His wife's death record does say she is buried in Walnut, IL - https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N3F4-ML6. I will see if I can get any information from the library in Walnut.

Hi Fred, I have been looking for his father for a long time. His mother was married to a Hollan and they are buried in the same cemetery as Montraville I think. His parents were divorced about 1893 and Montraville died in Chicago in 1926. Thanks.
