I would also appreciate it if folks did not add folks before they are dead and planted in the ground. This makes searching for folks to add MUCH more difficult. Dave

Although it is important to add entries to find a grave. It would be nice to give the family an opportunity to enter the memorials vice having them show up our of the Free Press before the family has an opportunity to take care of their loved ones.

Do you Know Deb? Were you friends with Jack ? I don't think his marker is made yet..Deb told me she would send me a photo when it was arranged. How do you know what is transcribed on it?
I accepted your suggestions but I'm curious how you know.

Hi Laurie & Nate,
I noticed you had created a Find a Grave memorial for my sister-in-law Donna Ann Dionne Lavallee. The stone we ordered this week. Once it is put in the cemetery will you be able to add a picture of it?
Thank you,
Lori Lavallee

Please add the birth date of July 11 to your memorial #142784659. She did not tell any of the nieces or nephews he year because she did not want anyone to know how old she was. She definitely wanted everyone to know what her birth day was so she could celebrate. I added the photo of her to your memorial. Thanks. William Nering

RE: Photo Requests: Union Cemetery, Port Henry, NY
Thank you so very much.

The eternal mystery is what happened to the wife Mary Ann Binmore Thomas. She may have remarried and hence have a different last name but she is supposed to be there LOL. Most likely an unmarked grave.

It will be funny if the Henry with the hidden dates is related but not who we think he is.

Good luck mowing the rows before tick and heat season!

Take care.

Hi Laurie and Nate. Could you please transfer Carl Orville Blake to me? Thank you so much for ALL the information you put in there already and for taking care of Doris as well. Uncle Carl is my "grand" Uncle. Just lost my Aunt last year. I would appreciate it if you could transfer them to me, so I can link them up with the others I finally found through my Ancestry search. Thank you so much and for the pictures a well! Debra

Elizabeth Mae Sanders Aubrey 134927923
Dear Laurie & Nate S,

I have recently begun using Find A Grave to assist in researching my family tree. Like most, I began with my own. I just discovered your memorial for my mother. Thank you for that.

I have a question, your memorial is dated just one day after she died, I am curious where you found her information so quickly!

I have learned since joining the sight to search for a memorial before creating one. I had not learned that lesson when I created one for Liz. Here it is 144899610, if you are curious!

I also notice your last name begins with S. Are you a Sanders per chance? My grandfather's family came through VT from Quebec in the 1800's as St Esperit. It evolved into Sanders over 2 generations. I still have family scattered in VT.

I share Nate's philosophy "that a memorial should go to a relative, whether close or distant, than with someone who is not related at all."

Always looking for a family connection,
Best regards,
