RE: photo for Augustus Whiffen
My pleasure Linda!
I've attached a link for a photo of mine of the burial area. All the original markers are still on site but they were removed from the actual grave sites and stacked as you see in the photo to preserve the integrity of the inscriptions. Don't know if it made much sense to do so since no one can see the inscriptions that have been preserved?

Just saw the Santa Anne post, this was my Aunt and yes her twin is my Aunt. I am an Aloi. Do you need info? Tom is my Uncle.

Santa Anne is my wife's twin sister who died shortly after birth. My wife is Xxxxxxxxxx.( removed her name) Their parents are Peter Aloi and Flora Piriano. Siblings of both girls are Mary Anne and Anthony T (both deceased) there was another son also named Anthony but he died either at birth or was still born and is buried next to Santa. Frank Aloi is the twin brother of Peter. Both of them are the sons of Anthony and Mary along with their other siblings of Thomas and Santa. Hope this helps. Don't hesitate to conact us.

Linda, I was so pleased that Tom contacted me on this. It bothered me :-(. Carolyn

Santa Anne Aloi.
No. I am not related to the Santa Anne Aloi and then went online to Ancestry to try to find her which lead me to puzzling records on Family Trees. With conflicting info. But, different records attached. With my love of History, Genealogy , I get serious with trying to find out who someone is related to etc. Thus I asked four people about her and made contact help to them, if they can help. By the lamb on the headstone It appears to be a child.
But, this opened up more questions. As I find in 1920 a Santa Aloi with a family names as: Antonio Aloi , mother Mary both born in Italy with the following children: Frank age abt 4 b in NY, Peter age abt 4 b in NY, Santa age 2.6 months b abt 1918 in NY ( but family trees listed her as Santa"Lanta" ? Aloi and getting married ) see that name in same cemetery. Then a brother Thomas b NY. Sorry I do not know. I hope someone can solve this. So we will know.
I input her name but only your Memorial pops up.

I just do not know. Maybe someone will help from my questions. Thank you. C

Leo Edward Miller
Leo Miller is my grandfather. Although you have the details of his family and dates correct, he is NOT buried in Lenox Rural Cemetery in Canastota, NY. His wife, my grandmother, Mabel Miller, is buried there. However, Leo is buried at St. Agatha's Cemetery in Canastota. Please remove this misinformation from the Find A Grave site, as it may cause confusion and waste time to someone who is searching in earnest for his grave site.

Where did you obtain information that he is buried here? I would like to correct that source of information. Genealogy is a hobby of mine and when sources are incorrect, or when people assume certain information and give it to the public as fact, it can really throw someone off and be detrimental to true genealogical research.

Thank you,
Michelle Miller Bodoh

RE: Memorial# 28785105
I agree with you that it is nice to have photos with the memorials and I always try to add a bit more info if possible based upon the inscription on the markers.
Yes, there was an opening in the fence that allowed me access to get the photos. I was in and out pretty fast with a lot of quick snaps due to being under attack from a bountiful mosquito population.
It was my pleasure to add photos to the memorials you created. I will upload the baby marker for 'Little Emery'

I have a photo of a marker from the Karker Cemetery that simply says 'BABY' and it seems to be the only one relevant to 'Little Emery'. Could it be his marker? I'll post it at your discretion.
