Pearl Houdyshell
Hello Sharon,
Regarding Pearl Houdyshell, are you referring to the memorial #17877727 listed at the Garfield Cemetery that has no photo? My memorial for Pearl Houdyshell is at the Larned Cemetery with a photo so I am assuming the earlier memorial is either listed in the wrong place or he has two burial places. Usually the memorial incorrectly placed gets deleted if merged.

John Preston Brown
Sharon,

Thanks very much for taking the time to photograph John's headstone. It's a long way to Iowa from where I live, so I doubt that I would have the chance to take the photo myself.

This is a very nice community service that you are doing.

Thanks again.

Lady in Red
RE: Charles and Clara Ellis
I am thinking that maybe he remarried and was actually buried with his second wife. Or there may not have been anyone to pay for the death date inscription when he died. If I do come across an obituary for him, I will add it to his memorial. Glad I could be of service.

RE: Dean Rains
no I did not see another Rains nearby. If you search for the Monterey City Cemetery online...they have a website and have uploaded photos of most of the memorials located in the ground (not the columbariums though)...you might want to call them..very helpful folks.

Joseph Olson
You recently posted a photo of a stone for Joseph Olson, but it looks like there were more names on this stone, did you take photos of them also? I am thinking this is the mother and one brother I have been looking for. Names are:

Gustafa (or Gustava) Olson - Mother
Martin J Olson - Son and brother of Joseph.

If you have them also, I'd love to know. There is a memorial for Martin, but not for the mother and I'm actually hoping the father is there also. I'd appreciate any information you can give about this site and stone.

Thanks,
Jenae Hedman

Crippen, Basil
I have taken a picture of the headstone for B. Crippen. I also found that there are three other names with his gravesite. There is a Gene Mealey buried their and two markers. The names on the markers are Litita Houser Qulliam (spelling??), and Clyde Gene Houser. The cemetery office has no record of the Litita or Clyde. Therefore we can only assume a family member may have placed the markers but it is unknown if they are actually buried there. I have made memorials for them all. If you would like me to transfer them to you, I will be happy to do so.

A List
Mary Ann Knupp
There are other dates that do not agree with any calculated birth date or date of death. Notes copied from Daniel Knupp's old German bible do not agree with either the birth or date of death. So I will leave as is until someone provides more acceptable proof of actual dates. Mary Ann (Knupp) Houck was my husband's 3rd great grandmother.

RE: James Keith Barnett

Sorry there were no Barnett's near him. I always look around to see if there are any connection to someone buried near by. He is in a row that are cremains.

Leslie (Burke) Fernandes
RE: Salter
I took a picture of a stone next to his. It is for a Theresa Salter 02/09/21 04/26/10
It says she was a 1st Lt in the army during WWII

Would that be Betty? There was no Find-a-grave page for her, so I didn't post the photo.

RE: George W Piersol
Hi Sharon,
Thanks for searching--I am not sure I was clear when I put in the photo request, but George W Piersol is technically buried in St. Mary's which is within Forest Cemetery. This was one of the first findagrave memorials I created and I don't think I found St. Mary's in it. Thanks for your help. The plot number I gave should refer to the location within St. Mary's.

You're welcome. I did not see a headstone for Laura's husband, but I did find a stone for Clyde D. Utt, born 9 Nov 1909 and died 8 Jun 1912, son of F. & M.L....hope that helps!

RE: Carl Urness
Hi Sharon, you are welcome. About Doroth Urness Knedler, sorry no matches at all for a lot of different combinations, of the name. Carl's is in a family plot with Frank B. Sinnen the person who bought the grave plot, with Carl and 4 others. Dorothy is not in it or anywhere else in the cemetery. I took photo's of all the Sinnen's since Roselawn has all graves on Find A Grave. The cemetery has very good records and mapping online. Take care, good luck, Bob.

Thomas Gardner
There is no marker for Thomas Gardner. I will have to check with the cemetery when they are open and find out when he was interred. I was just at the library but didn't have his info with me. I will try to go back soon but it could be two weeks before I get there. I checked the Longmont Ledger on line and his name is not listed. The old Daily Times Call is not on line but the library has an indexes based on prior to 1977 and 1978 to present.

Ellis connection
Dear Sharon-I am Gwyn Roberts, the granddaughter of Madge Grace Roberts, the twin sister of Maud Grace Ellis.I have such wonderful memories of my Aunt Maud, Uncle Carl,my Dad John Roberts' cousins Robert and Ronald, the pig farm and seeing day old baby piglets. I think Aunt Maud must have passed only a year or so after we last visited there. It was wonderful to read about Philip Grace in such completeness-I had heard some stories but not in such detail. Thank you.My dad is still around-I will show him the Philip Grace info. Thank you again for whoever was able to find that out.

Amanda Barnett
Sorry I have the wrong photo for her. It seems that I accidentally forgot to take hers when I photographed the cemetery. Maybe I can stop and get it next summer when I'm down that way again. You can request a photo for her and then I can just get it when I print out lists for the cemeteries in the area.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I try hard to make the pages I do accurate.
Becky
