McCann in Zion Cemetery
Just a quick note to let you know that I have added headstone photos to Howard and Emma McCann's memorial pages. If for any reason you would like the photos removed, please let me know. I have also created a site for Rodney A. McCann. Rodney is laid to rest beside Howard and Emma.

Darleen Dorenkamper
Erna Louise Lenaburg Wiest
Erna Louise Schultz b. 24 Aug 1899 to Edward Emil Schultz and Helena "Lena" Christine Lenaburg. According to a family history booklet, she married Robert C. Lenaburg in 1923 a very short time before marrying George Emil Wiest. I can find no record of either marriage. So I am not sure about the marriage to Robert C Lenaburg, who was the son of Reinhold Robert Lenaburg & Josie Kerschner Lenaburg.

Erna's mother Lena Lenaburg Schultz was a sister of my grandmother Anna Alvina Lenaburg Magandy. She was granddaughter of Herman Adolph Lenaburg, brother to Reinhold - so perhaps when discovering they were cousins, Erna Schultz & Robert C. Lenaburg had their marriage dissolved.

The Erna Louise Schultz marriage to Robert C. Lenaburg is mystery to me and I keep hoping someone can give me some documented facts. Yet Lenaburg is on the headstone along with Erna Wiest! I know of no other Erna Lenaburgs in the family so believe it is Erna Schultz Lenaburg Wiest.

Photo Requests for Cemetery: Moseley Cemetery
Can you give me a little more information as to where the cemetery might be? I'll attempt the request this afternoon if I can find it.

Please check the memorials you added to Ebenezer AME Church in Lincoln County, Mississippi. These memeorials are in the wrong cemetery.

Photo of Zion church (Bay County MI)
Hello Deana, I'm a brand new member (just joined yesterday), but I noticed you added a photo of Zion Lutheran Church located in Beaver Township, Bay County MI. Although it is a nice looking church, it is not Zion. I drive by this church frequently, would you like me to take another photo for you.

I live near Moseley and I see that there is another request for Arthur. You have 2 requests. I am more than willing to go and take these pictures but have no idea where this cemetery is. I spent a few hours last week looking for 2 other small, private cemeteries in the county. The cemetery page has no directions to find this. It is my thought that these small, family cemeteries are now on private property. I would contact the current owners before going onto their property. Can you give me any idea where this is - a road or address? Have you checked with the Chesterfield County Historical Society for additional information? Let me know your thoughts. I have been through this with my own family and ended up in a cow pasture in upstate NY !!!

Jerusalem Cemetery, Wales WI
Just a quick note to let you know I claimed your request for photos of Byron Evans #50927041 & Beuhlah Evans #41583782 in Jerusalem Cemetery, Wales, WI. We still have quite a bit of snow cover, but expecting a few warmer days (40's) here soon. If not in the two week suggested time period, we'll get them done as the weather breaks. Have a good day.

Hey Deana,
Many thanks for providing the death info. I have changed it and noted the discrepancy in his bio.
Also, I have to say, the foto is not up to the quality that I produce now. That was my first year on findagrave and therefore, just learning the ropes.
Again, thanks for catching my error.
Later, James Coston

Tombstone Treasures
William Patrick Wallace
Hello Deana,

I am the volunteer that took the photograph of Mr. Wallace.
Honestly, I'm not happy with the picture. It's dark and seems a bit blurry.

The next time I am at Fairview Cemetery. I will get another picture, a BETTER picture for you.

I'm not sure exactly what happened with my camera, but I'll make it right for you; I just wanted to let you know.

Robert Clark
George & Ella Smith in Woodland, CA
We went to look for George Smith and Ella Smith this morning at the Woodland Cemetery and could not locate their markers based on the location information. This section of the cemetery contains mostly graves for indigents, and it also has a large memorial (a columbarium) for indigents, established by Yolo County. We will contact the cemetery office next week to se if we can get a more exact location for the memorials/markers.

RE: FAG vs Ireland
It hasn't caused grief, I was just trying to talk with you about it. It sounded like you were kind of frustrated about it and I was trying to make suggestions to help fix it. To me, it should only be one Ireland. I think it's a shame that Ireland is split in two. I think it's just over religion after all. I'm just glad I've found someone else who is researching the family.

RE: Alexander McCullar
I found a map of Northern Ireland, I can email it to you if you want. On the map, the location is called Island Magee. Since I have never tried to add a location more than a country, I'm at a loss although I do need to double check and see if I've added my great grandmother's place of birth in Scotland. Anyway, I thought I would mention it in case that is a possible location. I wonder if Find a Grave could be contacted and ask if they would add the name of the Island in their list. Do they specifically have Ireland or Northern Ireland? I'm really not trying to be pushy, just helpful I promise on this one! It's a mystery to me! lol

Kathie Trent Kingery
RE: Re: Moseley Cem
I think there are several more Moseleys and Williams buried there according to the Library of VA information I found. The Moseley's homeplace was called Wheatland and it looks like on Google Earth there is a small airport there now (probably for crop dusting, etc.) called Wheatland airport.

I am going to try and get there this weekend (if it cools down some)and see if I can find the old graveyard.

The last information I found on it is quite old and the directions say the graves are surrounded by a stone wall but are 'in the woods', which sometimes is so overgrown you can never find them.

Moseley Cemetery, Arthur Moseley
Hi Deana,

I am going to try and respond to your pic requests for Arthur Moseley and while looking for the cemetery I find that it is not in Chesterfield County, VA but in Buckingham County. Not sure who/how to correct this.
