RE: John Fleming
I am sorry Wayne - I left out 2 generations. John Fleming (1775) - Jacob Fleming. The migraine today is bothering me more that I thought. Snow here today.

RE: John Fleming
My line is John Fleming - Edward I. Fleming - Walter Edward Fleming - Marion Edward Fleming - me.
I was very sure I could not find much information on the Fleming line when I started researching. My father's parents were divorced when he was 7 and had no interaction with the Fleming family after that. I had only see my grandfather one time and my father asked him to leave. Found out much later that he had been in prison. Just found out about a month ago that he had remarried - no one in the family knew that either. He was only married a few months.
My dad's brother, Glenn, will be 100 this year - he lives in LaPorte.
I live in Kouts - where is home for you?

Wayne -
How are you related to John Fleming, buried in the Fleming Cemetery? He is my fourth great-grandfather.

Can't access my tree info right now. I upgraded to Windows 7, finally....but now I can't install my Family Tree Maker. I have to buy a new one (yes, I saved a!)

Sorry I can't answer your question at this time.

Elizabeth Hughel Gunder
My grandmother, Mary Leannah Hughel Mark was born the same year as her cousin, Jeane Daniel Gunder, in 1889. My grandmother's grandfather, Samuel Hughel, was the brother of Elizabeth Hughel, the wife of Samuel Houston Gunder, they were the parents of Jeane. Samuel and Jeane both were at the Pozzoni Pharmacal Company in Chicago, formerly in Saint Louis, Missouri, where Mr. J. A. Pozzoni died in 1855 after being thrown from his buggy. Jeane was the inventor of the ladies face powder compact with mirror. My grandmother, Mary, and her two sisters, Ruth and Gladys, once visited the Gunders and stayed at the Mansion in Chicago. Great photos of the Gunders! My Great, Great Grandma was Hannah (Beam) Gunder. It's pretty cool to see what her Dad looked like.
