Kara Backlund
RE: Fenwick
Hi Tammy,

Yes, I am related to the Fenwicks from Marion Co, KY. Our line is through Martha Fenwick, daughter of Cornelius Neal Fenwick and Celia Ann Cissell. I have a cousin who has found quite a few ancestors for both Cornelius and Celia. I'll look up the link (he put it all online) and send it to you.I looked at the Fenwicks in your virtual graveyard and the only names I recognized were the two I mentioned above. So if you could send me the info of how the others are related to those two, or any other info you have, I'd appreciate it. So far I only have names and dates for any Fenwick people, no stories about them or why they went from KY to IL. So if you know any of those kinds of details, that would be interesting too. My email address is karabacklund@gmail.com.

Thanks for contacting me,
Kara

Oak Hill Cemetery
Tammy,

Some time in the past two years you took a photo of Oscar Olson's tombstone in Oak Hill Cemetery, could you post this to his wife's memorial? I'm adding a request to make it easier.

Also, I believe that Helen's brother, Floyd, might be buried there as well and I wondered if you had a contact I could make to verify this. I can't seem to find anything online about who to call. I'm in Los Angeles area so some times a bit difficult to get information.

Thank you for your help.

RE: gardener
Hi Tammy,
I don't know which Gardners your note refers to so I don't know which cemetery you're talking about.
Can you clarify?
Thanks for your efforts.

C. Walsh
St. Vincent's Cemetery
Hi Tammy,
Thank you so much for taking all of the Walsh pictures and posting them. If you want to transfer all of them to me, go ahead. I can place all of them in the family except for "Richard Walsh." I haven't found anything on him as of yet. I really appreciate everything you're doing on the Walsh pictures. Isn't St. Vincent's a beautiful cemetery? Everytime we go up to Illinois, the whole family walks all through it looking at graves. It lets the younger ones know about their past. Now it's something we all look forward to at family reunions. The kids ask questions, and we tell them about their ancestors. Thanks again Tammy!
P. S. Is your line of Stachowiaks related to the Hybke(i) family in any way?

John & Catherine Walsh
Hi Tammy, Thanks so much for taking the pictures of John and Catherine Walsh. I really appreciate it. We live in Florida, and it's a long way to LaSalle. We were up there last April, and put some crosses with flowers on some of the graves. They're probably gone now or destroyed from the winter weather.
Thanks for taking the pictures of the other Walsh members. I have so much information on that family, but I haven't put all of them into Find A Grave yet. If you can keep them, that's great, but you don't have to. It might be a while before I get all of that information on the computer. I'm actually working on 5 different families.
Are you by any chance related in some way to the Hybke(I) family. This is my husband's family, and I know that there are some Stachowiaks who are related.
Thanks again for taking the pictures. I'm going to attempt my first volunteer pictures tomorrow. Any tips?

James Foxcroft Smith at Henry Cem
Thanks for the picture you added to James Foxcroft Smith's memorial at Henry Cemetery, Marshall Co ILL.

Did you notice if his wife Margaret was also buried next to him. She didn't have a memorial on the cemetery website but sometimes they are missed. Also was his name not on his stone? Could there be a bigger one with Smith on it? Thanks again I appreciate your help.

Thank You
Tammy,

Thank you so much for the photo of Nathaniel and Nancy (Judd) Gants' gravestone. They are my great-great-great grandparents and I knew it would be a while (if ever) before I would get the chance to visit Illinois.

Thomas B. and Elizabeth (Darnell) Judd (Nancy Judd Gants' parents & my 4xggp's) are also supposedly buried in Cumberland Cemetery. Would love to have a pic of their stone if they have one.

Many thanks again, this means a lot to me.

Sorry Tammy, I haven't checked my Find A Grave messages in a really long time so I hadn't seen your message. I just transfered the William and Ann Fenwick memorials to you for management. Sorry it took so long!

Hi, Tammy -- Thank you for adding pictures of the stones for the McStoots and two of the Bashams to my memorials for them in the Tom Cook Cemetery. I had not seen the memorials when I sent the previous message asking if you had taken pictures. They are much appreciated. -- VirJean

Bashams / McStoots
Hi, Tammy -- Thanks for writing. The record for the Tom Cook Cemetery states that F. F. Basham (this is Francis F. Basham), James T(imothy) Basham, Angeline Basham and Walter E. Basham are buried there. I do not know if there were only field stones for them, or if the ones for them are now unreadable. I also know that there are McStoots buried there. Did you get pictures of the McStoots stones when you were there? It would be an added bonus for my memorials for them if you could add pictures to them. -- VirJean

RE: Fenwick/Mattingly
Tammy, it is a very real possibility that we are looking at the same family here. I'll try to send you what I have on John and Rebecca. Let me know if we've connected will you? I don't have a great deal on the family except where there are connections with a Mattingly somewhere but I do have eight children for John and rebecca. I'll look for your e-mail address and send it that way.

William
