Go to my Memorials and you will see what I'm talking about. Let me know if you see it. I don't think Isabell is correct at all.

Wade Family
Hi Ron!

I've noticed that you have done a lot of work with the Wade family stemming from Telitha Wade (daughter of David Bingley Wade). I assume that you are related to these Wades, and wanted to introduce myself. My family branch extends down from Telitha's brother Simeon Noah Wade and his wife Ann. I would be interested in learning more about your branch of the family, and would be willing to share anything I have found about my branch as well.

I hope you're doing well, and I look forward to connecting with you!

I don't mind transferring at all, I prefer to do that than make additions/corrections myself. Don't hesitate to ask for a transfer.

RE: James & Mary Sanders
You are very welcome! It actually wasn't that difficult to find. If you're familiar with the cemetery, it's on the right side of the main road in the cemetery (Redbud Lane), right at the edge. I enabled GPS on my camera, I just can't figure out how to extract the information. Once I do, I'll send the coordinates to you.

Hi Ron, I see where the people who claimed his and Mary's photo could not find the grave...I guess we will just have to wait until the fellow I talked to sends one. I know he did find the graves, because he said he found a James M. Sanders, and could his wife be Mary E.. I had not mentioned his wife's name, so he must have found them or he wouldn't have known the wife was Mary E.. He did say the grave was hard to find. If I don't hear from him in a while, I will recontact and ask for directions to grave.

Re San Jacinto
Thanks for getting back to me Ron. Yes for sure, he got land for his service in the war, just not sure he made it to San Jacinto. On an aside, I see where the USS Texas is in big trouble and needs 29 Mil dry-dock service...Glad I got to visit her just one month before she was shut down.

Sarah Elizabeth Wallace Pruitt
Hello Ron,
I am curious about the Hester Farm Cemetery (Upshur County) in which Sarah Wallace Pruitt (#84684734)is buried. Her mother,Parilee McBride Wallace was the sister to my great-grandfather, James Monroe McBride. Do you know what the Wallace/Pruitt connection was to the Hester Farm Cemetery? Was this a cemetery on land that belonged to a Hester? I believe that another sibling of Parilee and James Monroe, was married to a Henry Hester of Wood County in 1860.
I would appreciate any information you may have.
Thank you,
Connie McBride Davis
P.S. I grew up in Longview! Same age as you -bet you were a Lobo!! Me - Pine Tree.

San Jacinto
Hi Ron,

Just got back from vacation in Texas, and visited the Monument. I was curious if our Richard Hooper was there, and have spent the last five hours trying to find out. Then on a google search, It referenced Martha Ann Sanders Knight Find A Grave memorial, where you stated he had "fought there". Could you please tell me where you got the info? I would love to put the citation on his Find A Grave memorial.

Thanks Ron,

In regards ro the subject. I noted you had her maiden name in the bio you have up.

I was thinking of some one that might be doing a search on her just using her maiden name.

Is Adaline related to you in any way?

I have added you as a friend.

RE: Maudie Wilks Photo
You are welcome. There was no marker by her for a husband but there was a vacant space to the North of her where an unmarked grave could have been. There was a marker just to the South that could have been a daughter because the dates were 20 or so years newer than her dates and the last name was different.

RE: Mary Wade Memorial
You are so very welcome. A lot of my Watters lineage is at Myrtle Hill....when I lived in Marietta, my husband & I went there all the time. It is a very unusual cemetery & extremely interesting.

I prefer family members to have control of their memorials so I almost never have a problem transferring memorials.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Good luck hunting or I should say researching!
