I'm glad that I could help out.
Who had the first name misspelled, you or cemetery? Next to her was a marker that said,
"Infant son of W.H. & Nerva Kilgore". I took that picture as well but there is not a listing for that marker, just one for a Elizia Kilgore. I can enter that as a new marker or just send you the photo. Let me know.

|Scott Jensen||Crandall genealogy|
Today I stopped in at the Hesperia Public Library to look at their local history room and found three notebooks on the Crandall family. I thought of you immediately and made copies of a few pages including Carey Crandall [1761-1844] and his marriages to Mary Slocum and Mehitable Wilcox and their children. Then I copied the pages of Carey Billings Crandall and his marriage to Sally Shaw, as well as their children. If you'd like these pages, please send me a mailing address. You can send the address to my e-mail: email@example.com
If not, just say so. I suppose I could scan them and send them electronically too.

|Scott Jensen||Susan Crandall|
Mary I found Susan Crandall [wife of Franklin] in the 1910 census living in Newaygo County with 15 year old son, Zane R. Crandall. Unable to find out any death information on her, even though we know she's buried in the family plot in East Hesperia Cemetery. Do you already have that information? or are you not looking for info. on her since she's not a direct Crandall descendant?/
Sorry for more question. Hope you don't mind.

|Scott Jensen||RE: Hunt family from Newaygo Co, MI|
While I was meeting with the sexton of the East Hesperia Cemetery, I inquired about the plot of C.B. Crandall [father of Franklin]. We both found it interesting that the spaces were occupied by space #1 wife, #2 empty, #3 Doc [was the father, C.B., a doctor?], #4 father, #5 mother and space #6 mother. My thoughts on this: could the mothers and father be graves for Sally and C.B. parents? Do you know where they are buried? That would get you back another generation.
Regarding the Franklin Crandall plot, any idea about the "Lampman baby" grave in space #1 of the family plot? Just curious.
Sorry for all the questions.

Mary, Are you the one who requested a photo of a gravestone for Elizabeth J. Hunt? If so, do you have the information about where her husband is buried? I know where her husband was buried and two of her sons, if you are interested, I can fill you in. If you already have the information, just ignore my questions. Once I get going, I can hardly stop even in other's genealogies :)

|Scott Jensen||Franklin Crandall family plot|
Mary, Almost 2 weeks ago I claimed the photo request for Franklin Crandall [not sure if it was YOU who made the photo request or if you just made the memorial]. I've been busy searching through the cemetery twice, through cemetery records at the public library and finally made a call to the sexton, and have finally found a lead to where the burial plot is. It IS in the East Hesperia Cemetery. And, there are others buried there with him, interestingly. He purchased a plot which contains 6 graves. I am hoping to get back to the cemetery [which is 30 min drive from home, one way] tomorrow as I know right where to go. I'll take a picture of the spot whether there is a stone or not. Just wanted you to know what was going on and that I hope to have the photo on site by tomorrow as my claim expires within 48 hours.

I don't understand why this was not available before! It was right there is the right place next to the Capt., just like the location map showed it to be, although in several pieces. Vandals are really rotten!
