Henry Leigh died 1886 buried St Marys Lymm
Hi Jim, just to let you know there was an error with Henrys parents, sadly they are not Thomas Leigh and Elizabeth Buckley. His parents are actually a Thomas Leigh & Ellen, still trying to establish more on them so it can be added when found. Thanks

Thank you, when I first put up the memorial, I was working off of information from another researcher who was canvasing burial info on Vietnam Vets. He had gone to the LBJ Library in Austin, Texas and copied the REQUEST FOR HEADSTONES Forms from the VA on all casualties which occurred in LBJ'S term in Office. We were attempting to get each one logged at Find A Grave. I did around 1200 or so. I only had the cemetery name and did not realize that there were many such named cemeteries in large cities owned by the same companies and marketed by a the main name and a street name or as such. That is why I got him in the wrong cemetery. Another reseacher contacted me and told me that he had found the correct cemetery.

Julia Akanaʻs grave
Thank you so much for the photo of Julia Kahāʻopulani Spencer Akanaʻs grave. She was my maternal grandfatherʻs sister, and she helped raise him when he was a teenager on Kauaʻi when his mother on Oʻahu became ill. She spoke fluent Hawaiian, was a kind, generous woman and a pillar of the Episcopal church on Kauaʻi; her son in law, Lani Hanchett, was the first Episcopal bishop of Native Hawaiian blood. Her husband, John Akana, was a renowned fisherman in Kalihiwai and Hanalei areas on Kauaʻi, and some of their grandchildren are still fishermen there. I live in Sacramento, CA now, and have not been able to visit my Auntyʻs grave in over 30 yrs. It was so special to be able to see your photo. Mahalo piha me ke aloha waimaka no kou ʻoluʻolu - Thank you so much with tears of aloha for your kindness. Jason Keliʻinohokula Lindo

Wonderful that you did take the time. If you'd like to turn over his memorial, I'll add some of the family information that I have. Also, how funny, I am also reaching the Connolly's. They were from Tip. Michael Connolly Born 1881 Clonmel, any connection? I know of one daughter Brigid who married Michael Kennedy.

Hi Jim, I just returned from Ireland and met Patrick Friel's family in Raphoe. He was my granddad's nephew. A beautiful welcoming family. If you are related let me know what the relation would be and are you in Irl or elsewhere. I have some additional details I can share.

Hi Jim,
Wow, you are onto these edits so quick. Thank you again for doing theses photos. They are a great help. I was in the area recently and was able to visit the graves for myself. It made it so much easier knowing what to look for,
Kind regards,
Chris Kemp.

re: edit submitted
Greetings: I am writing to explain the edits that I did of this family by the name of Gould. I was looking for Find A Grave memorials for Gould surname and came across this James Gould & family.

I have a photo program that can alter the photo of a tombstone, and bring out the fading engraving on tombstones. Then I used my date calculator to get the missing birth information based on what was on the tombstone on William's tombstone.
James Gould (77y) with his age and death date I was able to get his birth date. Find A Grave id#:147725444
Ann Gould (66y) Find A Grave id#:147703838
William Gould (13y 8m) Find A Grave id#:147703836
Joseph Gould (10 wks or 2m 14d)Find A Grave id#:147703837
James Gould was the tough one due to it being so close to the ground and dates hidden by grass. Find A Grave id#:147725444
I based their death location on the Find A Grave cemetery information.

I like to link family members together by their id#s because it helps with genealogy research. However, I also like to link family members so though they will joined with their family members in death.
Thank you for your time.

I see you have uploaded to Mt Calvary in Albuquerque, very well cropped, clear and colorful photos, and not sideways as so many are coming in. Thank you!

Re Thomas Evans ( # 146538020 ) in Mickle Trafford
Hello Jim

I've managed to lash up twice in one record!! Firstly disregard the reference to mickle Trafford, it should of course read Thornton le Moors!
Secondly - I think the photo request came from Chris Kemp ( 47865401 ) not from you. Sorry for the confusion.!!

Mike
