RE: Andrew Curtis Shelnutt
Hello Brad, I have not found the death date for Elizabeth B. Davis (Davies). The information in my Shelnutt Genealogy book does no list the date either. It does state that after Henry W. Shelnutt's death, she moved to Gwinnett County Georgia. Elizabeth's father was Thomas William Davis, born 25 December 1772. Thomas's parents were Col. William and Agnes (Lanier) Davis. I have a picture of Andrew and Elizabeth Shelnutt. If you are interested, I will forward to you by email. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Nancy

Hello Brad,

In this memorial, you mention a death certificate.
Do you have a copy? I am trying to verify parents.
I just need to know if parents are listed and names.

Thanks,

Elizabeth

RE: Abt Hamilton Mill Baptist?
Hi there.
All you have to do is search Hamilton Mill Cemetery and view the map. It is just off of Highway 124 a few miles north of Lawrencevlle and a couple of miles south of Hamilton Mill.
Hope this helps.
Regards. Bud
PS It was called Hog Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery up until a few years ago when some folks were to uppity to live near a place called "Hog Mountain" and had it changed to Hamilton Mill. BB

RE: Sarah & Jabez Brooks intead of Nancy.
Good Morning.
I checked Gwinnett book and Barrow county but didn't see them in either one. Loads of "Brooks" around these parts. I collected 164 in my meandering through cemeteries around here. Do a surname search on my bio page and see if any are yours. That may give a lead to your Sara. Also, will be happy to transfer any that you would like. I collected those for someone out in AZ that was also looking for "Brooks".
Happy Researching, Bud

Hi Brad.
Say, what was your Nancy Davis Brooks' husband's name? I saw four Nancy Brooks in the 1860 census.

I would like to know the source of your dates for James's first wife, Sarah Pitner. I have obits for her daughters, born 1891 & 1893, and burial of a son, born 1897. Since your note on James's page says she died in 1891, I'd like to straighten out my family files.

John Morgan died of measles after enlisting in the Confederate Army in Virginia. He is buried at the famous cemetery in Richmond. (I have the info and grave location, but can't remember right at the moment). I hope to visit there in the near future and take pics.

Dear Brad, Goodwins district in Gwinnett County once included Suwanee, GA. but now it is a seperate district between Suwanee and Lawrenceville. I have the obituary of Brad Humphries of Suwanee from the News-Herald 12-3-1903 and other information on the family that I have collected over the years. I would be glad to share information.
