I read your bio. If you have time read mine.
Gale Liveoak (#46831652) I have two of the rudest people Find A Grave harassing me. I loved your response to the rude man that you are dealing with.

|Kay||RE: Ellen Cooke in Kyle Cemetery|
I will gladly leave the photos of the headstones you have attached to all my Cook ancestors. Thank you for the transfer of their memorials. And yes I would also like Ellen's memorial, I thought I had already requested it. But I have done so now.
Thank you very much,

I truly appreciate the transfer and will begin adding some information today. Please pass my thanks along to your sister, too, for the two of you having the interest and taking the time to document the cemetery. John Hazle Mauldin's is a tragic story.

Only very distantly. One of his triplett daughters who was born 6 months after John Hazle was killed in a mining accident, married a Hazlitt and that is my only family connection. I am currently corresponding with family members and none of us knew where he was buried. His d/c does not give any information about his burial. So I was thrilled when the memorial you created popped up today.

|Maria Russell||RE: Re: Rude Volunteers|
Thanks for your prompt reply, some of my days could be frustrating if I dwell on it. I did not know you could report volunteers. I love to take photos, I started with my baby g/son , ever since then every where I travel I stop and take headstone photos. I carry my boots and supplies in my car, have cameras will travel.
Some people are all about how many memorials they can enter, not me, I just enjoy taking photos. I am glad you report the person hooray for you.
I want to make a difference in some nice people genealogy.
I choose to forget the rude ones.
You have a nice week,

I could not find a William Odom that was born on that date, but here is my website of that Cemetery. There are not yet in alphabetical order and I think that all of the Odom's are on page 2. Hope this helps.

|Carolyn||Twilligear & Odom|
Hi Amanda. My name is Carolyn Whittington. My grandmother, Virginia Mae "Mamie" Wilson Kirtley's mother was Mary Belle Twilligear Wilson who was the daughter of George Emanuel Twilligear, my gg grandfather. I have a picture of George on my family tree. I also have a picture of Elizabeth "Eliza" Ellen Harmon Twilligear, his wife & my gg grandmother. My grandfather was Roy Virgil KIrtley, son of Will Kirtley & Edith Etta Lillie Odom, daughter of Anthony Odom & Annie Bedotty Harrison. Edith Odom Kirtley was a sister to James S Odom. My grandfather Roy & his two sisters Viola & Annie were orphaned as children & were raised by James S Odom "uncle Jimmie", his mother's brother & Susie Twilligear Odom "aunt Susie" who was my grandmother (Roy's wife) Mamie's blood aunt.& Mary Belle Twilligear Wilson's sister. I hope I didn't confuse you, because, I think I confused myself:) My grandpa Roy was born in Ellis, TX. I think my grandmother too. I inherited several photo albums from Mary Belle Twilligear's daughter Florene (the youngest of 12 children) & she had the obits from her parents Charles Henry "Charlie" Wilson & Mary Belle Twilligear Wilson in there for 65 years. I knew all of their children (except for Shelby who died at the age of one). Florene "Flo" was the youngest & Anna Estelle "Annie" was next to the youngest & both Flo & Annie were like second mothers to me, especially Annie. I guess we have the same gg grandparents in common and are related. I am in contact with Charlotte Carpenter Johnson & Georgia Jones who are also related. Any photos you might have would be exciting & any I have you are welcome to. Please respond to this email as I know we can offer each other tidbits of info. If you have a private tree, could you please include me? I have also sent this email to your private email as well to insure you received it.
Thank you so much,
Carolyn Whittington, gg granddaughter of Twilligear & Odom

Amanda, the photo that you downloaded on the memorial page of William Rufus Nelson #51494430 in Maverick County is almost solidly black. Can you lighten it?

|S Remmark-Fuhrman||RE: Spring Creek Cemetery|
It can be tricky to add a map, I have had to just kind of play around with adding the Latitude and Longitude until it came out right. On the top, left side of the page for Spring Creek Cemetery at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2298198&CScn=Spring+Creek&CScntry=4&CSst=46&CScnty=2605& there should be a blue edit feature that says "Edit Lat/Lon". When you click on that, you will be taken to a page where you can add the Latitude and Longitude that I sent you. Once that is added and saved, a google map will come up showing where the cemetery is. I think that I added the information backwards the first time that I did it for one of my cmetereies, because a map of a area unknown came up the first time and I had to play around with the feature a bit. The map should show Spring Creek Cemetery a little off "Cirle B Rd" and "Old Harper Rd", when you are done.

Would you be so kind as to transfer this gravesite to me?
