Thanks for posting the obit so quickly. I wish everyone was so responsive! He is only related to me in a round-about way by marriage but it was so impressive that I thought it should be on his page.

Roderick McPherson
Thanks for catching the really weird mistake. That Jay Cooke fellow is definitely not Roderick's spouse, and I don't think I've ever worked with a memorial ID as low as 225!

All I can figure is that as I was entering his wife Margaret, I somehow hit the "More Spouses" link and started typing but with another window in front of it. Glad you caught it.

James Brown Photo
I really appreciate this photo - however, it is not my James, unfortunately. My James was with the 27th Georgia Infantry and died in 1862.

God bless!!! DJ

Good Morning,

I see you posted a picture of Catherine Caspary saying she is your 3xG grandmother. She is also my 3xG Grandmother. I have been working on my family heritage since college, but for the past 3 years have been very sucessful. I came across this picture yesterday and think she looks a lot like my Nan, Lillian Boyle Barati. My father is Andrew "Drew" Barati of South Park. Who are your parents?

Thank you for adding some of my ancestors to find a grave! I have alot of my Native American ancestors burried there. Charles, etta, Virginia, Addie, James, Joseph. They are my great great uncles and aunts. My great great great uncle William Puckett is burried there too. I'm wondering if his mother , Tammuxzena Elizabeth Puckett, maiden name Lacy,b1834 was burried there. Do you know of this?

Thanks for being a Photo Volunteer!
Thanks for going out to Blandford Cemetery and taking pictures of the lots for Reginald Lee Mann, W. W. Alley, Infant Female Henshaw, John J. Calhoun, Mary Clary Calhoun, and the five members of the extended McFedrick/McFredrick/McFrederick Family (the spelling changes depending on the generation).

I was hoping to learn some new information from their markers unfortunately none of the ten have a marker. Thanks for taking pictures of the lots since they don't have markers.

I hope you and your family had a Happy Memorial Day!

Michaels and Loomis
Thank you so much for posting the photos of the markers and plots for the Michaels and Loomis. I believe John Michaels is my 3x great grandfather but I can't find proof that he had a daughter named Lucy Ann Michaels, my 2 x great grandmother. My mother, who is 98, heard stories that one of her grandmother's jumped down a well during the Civil War. I just found a newspaper article that John Michaels' wife, Mary, committed suicide by drowning herself in a well at Model Farm on 27 Aug 1871, long after the war but the story could have been changed during the years. I will be in Petersburg in late August and would like to visit John's grave. Is there a GPS location or a landmark that would get me to his plot? Thanks again for the pictures.
Cynthia
