Relation to Albert J. Wagner
Hello, recently we discovered a US army footlocker bearing the name Albert J. Wagner in the hay mow of a barn. If you have any information regarding Albert or know of anyone that would have an interest in this find it would be neat to be in contact.

RE: Thank you
I have transferred Fred's memorial to you. The photo is from a book found at the Linn County Genealogical Library. The book contains pictures and little snippets about veterans from Linn County. The book is called "Roll Call of Linn County."

RE: Incorrect family
Thank you for letting me know. My apologies about the mistake. I had gone to Northwood and taken photos just for leisure a year or so ago. So I thought I'd compare the request lists to the photos I have. I intend to take more photos there in the future though, and I'll look for Schwarz when I do.

Check out these memorials too:
O'Brien: Anna, Annie, Peter, William
Powers: John, Irene V, Annie, John, Thomas B., Anna, Thelma

Anna Powers was the grave owner. All these individuals are also in the same lot with Eleanor. Could be relatives

Hope this helps in your search!

RE: Conrad Follmer grave
yes, the tall monument is still there. I also thought it peculiar that there was a new stone for Conrad, when the old one was still in very good shape.
Perhaps somebody was putting one in for Elizabeth, and added a similar one for Conrad, which also includes his birth date.

I noticed in several of the Iowa cemeteries that there appeared to be new/replacement headstones for quite a few people who had passed away a long time ago.

and you are most welcome for the photos.

RE: Thank YOU!!!
You're more than welcome to use the photo as you see fit. I was hoping the other family member William Guhl you were searching for would be on the marker or nearby, but that marker was by itself on the plot.

I live right near the calvary cemetary, as I live in Conshohocken. Do you have any section and plot numbers or names for her?

Will be going to Northwood a few times during the month of May. I usually try to get there at least once every two weeks. And have to take my mom before Mother's Day.

When you get the info post it and I'll get there.

RE: Ballard photos
Sure, THANK YOU for asking. Many don't ask. I usually don't mind at all. Enjoy them. Glad to help. I enjoy walking cemeteries. I often will claim the Photo requests, and when I go to take them, find other family nearby and take them as well. I also can't resist taking baby and OLD headstones. I will then create & upload them as well. I beleive that's how I ended with the Ballard stones.
Happy Hunting,

Would be happy to help you with your photos at Northwood Cemetery but need the Section and lot number before I will take photos. If you could call the cemetery office and inquire and get back to me with those numbers I will get the photos.

Joseph, Anna, Milo, & Velma were all together in the same row. It was my pleasure to help. I live in MN but get to IA on business quite often so I grave hunt after work. It is relaxing. Gotta talk to hubby about that Harley thing! I think I'd like that alot.
Happy Hollidays

Mary Campbell
Just wanted to let you know that, according to Mary's death certificate, she was born October 4, 1850 and died on December 13, 1914. Her parents were listed as John Haupton (sp) and Rebecca Stewart. She resided in Germantown (Philadelphia, PA), not too far from where I live now. I will take a pic of her grave this week. I'm not related, but I thought you'd like to know.
