Gemmel Transfers
Thanks for the Gemmel boys transfer. I've linked them to their parents and added a few details.
Would it be ok if I used your photos on my ancestry site if I credited you as the photographer?

Dear Charles! Thank you for transferring the memorials for Elizabeth Knutson (my grandmother) and Gena Knutson (my 1st cousin 1x removed of wife of great grand uncle). You have done a REMARKABLE job of indexing preserving the Barron County history. I thank you! I would be happy to maintain any of the Martin & Anne (Halvorsdatter) Knutson family memorials.

RE: Long Family
Those three Long's would be my relatives. Thanks for clearing it up. I only had Melvin Long marrying a Kinsey. I didn't know about the others.

RE: Long Family
Sorry Charles, I didn't mean a "Long Family Cemetery" what I actually meant was I see that you take a lot of cemetery pictures of people with the last name Long. I was wondering what the connection was.

Cleveland Calvary Request
Just a friendly mid June reminder that we need plot info to fill your Cleveland Calvary request(s). We have less than 500 requests left but plot info for only 6% of those, having already filled the rest with plot info. We can't ask for plot info for more than 3 requests per week. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot info. We'd really appreciate it and will fill your request(s) soon after getting plot info. Thank you!

You've put in request(s) at Calvary in Cleveland. Several of us are actively working to clear the more than 745 requests. With 400,000 burials and 300 acres, if you could please obtain plot information AND a plot map one of us will be more likely to be able to fill the request, as the office will only give out a little information to each person. The office phone number is (216) 641-7575. On my page I have the plot maps listed that we already have which is quite a few. If the burial is in one of those sections we don't need another map, just the plot info on the request.

You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. So far everyone who's called has been successful in having a map mailed, a few e-mailed. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. With thousands of graves per section a plot map would be VERY helpful. Without plot information it's basically impossible.

Robert Kuhmann
Hi Charles! Are you a descendant of (or relative of) Captain Gilbert KNAPP (1798-1887)? The man is credited with having been the "founder" of Racine, Racine Co., WI.
