I did a quick look through the print info I have from Berrien County Genealogical Society, and pictures that I have take but not yet processed and uploaded. Based on what I have there are no other "Sides" family buried at Bethel. The weather really is not conducive to tramping the cemetery, but there are other ways I can dig into this and see if I can give you any solid information. Actually I love the research aspect of this project! And the nasty weather brings good opportunity. I will be in contact if able to help you at all.

I am always very happy when anyone shows an interest in a person I've added from "mowing rows" at cemeteries, so was pleased to transfer her to you.

I just wanted to thank you for all the information you have found on Patrick Linn and the Linn family. What a treasure trove of information! I have been saving everything I can from ancestry.com to my family tree with Patrick Linn in it. I am a g-g-g-g granddaughter of Patrick Linn. It was exciting to find an Irish ancestor as we had been told many times there was Irish blood somewhere.
Thank you for all your work!

You may use the photos on ancestry.com. We live only a mile down the road from the cemetery during the summer. We are so glad we can help. Other people have helped with finding headstones for my family tree. Thank you, Vicki

It doesn't bother me at all if you use the picture. When I take a volunteer photo, I more or less turn it over to the person who requested it. I just took it for you. It's yours to use any way you like. Thanks for asking, and of course I would appreciate it if you credit me.

|Bob Barnes||Sides family|
Recently I have updating information on my King &
Nelson ancestors and noticed your Find A Grave entries for the Sides family. Susanna Nelson Sides
(husband Joseph Sides) was a 3 great grand aunt & the next older sister of my Great-great-great-grand-
mother Rachel Nelson King b 2 Jan 1802 at York Co.
Pennsylvania. Their parents were David Nelson &
Susan Schweisgood/sometimes spelled Swasegood, natives of York Co., Pa.
I have some information on the Nelson and Schweisgood families including information on the
David Nelson & John M. King families trip to Ohio
from Pa. in 1825-26.

Hey Toni, didn't know if you knew but aunt Millie is listed on here. She's buried at Kellers Chapel with her parents & sisters. She has a shared stone with aunt Louise. They have her middle name as Masters and last name as Scott. I sent in a correction. Hopefully it'll be fixed. Also, tombstone reads her date of death wrong? It's a year off. Guessing a goof up since she died at the end of the year??

Absolutely you can use it! I am happy I could help. Don't really know why it caught our attention, but my husband and I were fascinated by the "unusual" first name and wondering why it was so close to the Doering family so I just snapped the picture and AFTER we got home saw there may be a connection. If I can be of any further help in SW Michigan I would be glad to try. Kathy

Yeah, sure, that would be fine. You can use the pic of the obit anyway you want. I don't know if you noticed that if you click on the obit it tells in the caption where and when it was in what paper. You could include that with the obit too.
