Glad to see your still around
HI Toni..glad to see your still doing some genealogy. Not sure if I told you but I seen your book at the Allen Country Library last year. Ya'll did a very goodr job. I'm still looking up family. I also just wrote to Professor Dr. Peter Ruckert in Germany today. I seen him on one of those genealogy shows and he does research at Stuggart where the records are held. I sent him what I had on my Stelly ancestors and hope to hear from him. If I hear anything from him I like to write you back ok. I believe you still have my e-mail address so just contact me there or Find A Grave. Again, nice to see you here again.

Oh my goodness's people like you that make me keep following this, my passion. You have so much detail and knowledge.

I've been doing this for awhile and I know that you have to take some of those Ancestry records with a grain of salt.

I know that Daisy is the relative of yours but I was also wondering, if you could tell me, about her son, Bernard. Apparently the woman that he married that bore him my friend's mother, Angela, was named Amelia. I don't know if you know anything about Bernard (or any generation below Daisy and Marshall). The ancestry records have Bernard married multiple times. But, I know that 2 people might be the same person with just the names reversed....hard to tell.

My friend's mom, Angela Morgan, was born in 1957 and the wives that are listed for him were marriages before this time. And it also has them in Florida, Minnesota, Texas, and of course Louisiana.

How do you decipher the real from the false, LOL?

Charles Steen, Sr.
Hi there,
I have sort of started looking for ancestors of my friend, Vincent. His mother was Angela Howard nee Morgan. Angela's father was Bernard Morgan (1922-2001). Bernard's parents were Marshall & Daisy Morgan nee Steen (I think). As many ancestry records can be wrong, I was wondering if you know if I have the right Bernard Morgan. Did the Daisy Steen in your family, that you know of, marry a Marshall Morgan?

Lee McGinnis
My 2nd great grandfather was a Steahlin and I have been looking at getting more information on his father's side of the tree. I have it going back to Johan Georg Stählin. Any information on this would be great.

Hi T. Linn:
I have been working on my Babcock family in Newaygo Co., MI. My great grandfather Henry Truman Babcock had a brother Z. Taylor Babcock m. Clarissa R. Dake
(1st cousin) and they had daughter Rosetta Violet Babcock. Her first husband was "Lute" Lucius B. Mattison #53715315 married around 1885 Michigan

daughters before they separated.
They were 1. Ada L. Matson, Quinn, Free, Bissell #100704388 and 2. Eva Sophia Mattson, Moore

I have asked Patti Ford to correct Hugh M. Free his 1st wife name in biography of Hugh M. Free in Find A Grave
to Ada NOT Ida.

Ada L. Matson m. 1/h Richard Quinn 30 May 1898
Hart, Oceana Co., MI.
Divorced 15 May 1902 Mason Co.
m. 2/h Hugh M. Free 29 Jan 1903

Cleo and Arnold Free
m. 3/h Harry M. Bissell 18 Nov 1913

She is buried in Lakeside Cemetery, Muskegon,
Muskegon Co., MI.
I thought you might like to have this information
if you are working on this family. Rosetta Violet

RE: Susan (Dutton) Beebe
Hi Toni - This is the link & contact info for Attica Twp., Michigan.
Can you contact them as a family member and have Susan's headstone "raised" or perhaps they can refer you to a monument company to have her headstone repaired. I'm recovering from breast cancer & headstones are very heavy to lift. Also, I believe it is improper to go into a cemetery and start digging up headstones misc. so contacting the caretaker would be the right thing to do. I often photograph headstones which have fallen over so the family can have them repaired & preserved.

RE: Elizabeth Beebe
Hi Toni,
I searched Ephraim Warner on and found a family tree. I compared it to mine and I didn't find a common ancestor, but it's possible that they are related way, way back. They (my Warners and your Warners) could have been in Hartford Connecticut at same time in late 1630's and may have come from same place in England.

Good luck with your research!!

RE: Elizabeth Beebe
Good morning,
yes, by all means, use my photos for your genealogy and That's why I do it! It is a shame seeing the deterioration of the stones. I added my photos to document that. I read your bio and see that you have Warner ancestors. Where are your Warner ancestors from? I also have Warner ancestors that are from Long Island. They came from Massachusetts and ultimately England around 1630.

Willie Clester memorial
Thank you for the transfer of Willie's memorial. A part of the Clester family settled in Poinsett, ARK. We have been researching this branch and connecting the dots. We know Willie belongs to them and will be linking him soon. Stay tuned!

Just finished adding memorials and photos to a cemetery we walked in Lebo, Kansas and am now working on another cemetery near there to get the records up on Find A Grave.

Will get back to the Clester clan soon. Thank you for the info on this cemetery. It is very interesting.
