Etta Lyons Buchwald
RE: Schenck Cemetery
My mother is Mary Weber Lyons- I know it is on that grave. I must have come across it 20-30 times.

I have been systematically been taking pictures of tombstones from this cemetery and putting them on Find-a-grave. On many of them (including my mother's) you wrote "Don't show pictures?. That confuses me. why would you do that?

Benjamin Provance
Sorry, it's late and right after I wrote you I saw where I wrote that Benjamin was Rebecca's father. (I'm not related, just added info from others) I added his middle initial in the bio section. Let me know if there is any more info you'd like included. (or if you'd like the memorial transferred)

Benjamin Provance
You sent me a request to add a middle initial E to a Benjamin Provance, but it was sent on a memorial for Rebecca Provance Burwell in Masontown Cemetery. I don't see any Benjamin Provances in this cemetery, so don't know if you sent the edit on the wrong memorial or what. Please clarify if you want me to do anything. Thanks

Karen, could you, look at my messages where I have been corresponding about the Deffenbaugh family. I noticed that you manage a couple of the Deffenbaugh graves. I wonder if you may be related to the Jacob Deffenbaugh family? Linda Stahl

No, I do not have a picture of Martha's stone, but we live about 4 miles away from the cemetery and do take photos so if there are ones you want in find a grave -request them and we will look for them.

Hi there Karen, I just wanted to thank you for being so thoughtful in leaving your message. It's been a negative time through here lately and we super appreciate some positive feedback!
If you would like us to transfer any familial memorials to you, please send a list via e-mail or request them through the edit tab. We would be glad to keep families together.
Saint Mary's is a lovely cemetery with a very helpful staff and beautiful big oak trees. It's a beautiful setting to photograph and we're glad our efforts made a difference in your research.
Be well,
Jenn

Hello, I read your info and saw you met some relatives through find a grave. This happened to me several times too and it is so neat! I saw you added a flower on Anna Miller's memorial (100266747). She was my great (x5) grandma. I just was curious if you were related to her also?? Are we cousins? OK, that's it! Thanks and have a great day! Laura

Thank you for taking the photos of their stones, however, in the future you may want to enlarge (or leave it larger). The postage stamp photos are really too small to even try to read and cannot be enlarged without becoming fuzzy.

I usually ask for "2 photo & post both...one up close to read and the other of the full stone + a little bit". But perhaps I forgot this time.

Again I appreciate your work on the Myers couple #123471621 & 123451682.

Duane St. Mary
RE: Homer & Marian Provins Dutrow
Hi Karen. If you could transfer Homer & Marion Dutrow to me that would be great. Judy & I were in Duncansville this summer for a Dutrow reunion and then went to Martinsburg to visit the graves. We live in Minnesota so don't get there often.

find a grave gives 30 days for a request to add something. The thirty days isn't up yet.
