Hi! In early November I sent you a edit note about each of these memorials. Did you receive them? Just checking. These are my GGG grandparents. Thanks!

|Linda Jenkins Werts||John Smith and John Smith|
Your photo requests in Lone Fir Cemetery, both John Smiths and both died in 1906, are in adjoining lots, one in 2N and the other in 1N. Neither grave is marked, not even a temporary cemetery locator; I'm unable to find an obituary in the historical Oregonian for either man. I'm loathe to admit defeat, but, here we are.

I only transfer within Find A Grave mandatory transfer rules. Please feel free to send all information you would like added using the edit tab on the memorials in question. I usually am able to add the information the same day that it is sent.

Just thought I'd let you know that I fulfilled your photo request for Arthur Dammann. Find A Grave's fulfillment notification system is not working.

|Sunny||RE: John Charles Thomas|
I must have transposed what I wrote. There is one there who was buried in 1959. That is the closest date. He is John T. Thomas though. A John C. Thomas is buried there, but he died in 1934. I will go back and look near his other family to make sure I did not miss him.

|Sunny||Mary Thomas-Mount Calvary|
I went to try and photograph this yesterday and the cemetery has no record of her being buried there. The only Mary Thomas is an infant who died in 1910.

Hi! In regards to your photo requests, can you please call the cemetery or submit a grave location request online and obtain the grave location (Gate, Section & Lot Numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the Find A Grave memorials.
Waldheim Cemetery: (708) 366-4541
Online submission: http://www.waldheimcemetery.com/SiteContent/Locate-Family-Grave/
Waldhim Jewish Cemetery is a huge consolidated group of cemeteries with over 150,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find a grave and take a photograph.
Thank you, Ace

I am not related to the family at all. When I entered the memorial it was from a transcription. They listed 2 Nicks one of which was listed with the death year of 1926. It is probably an error but I had not way off knowing so listed him with the explanation as best as I could. I find if I don't list the transcription errors someone else will come along later and add them. Most of the local transcriptions are so so on accuracy. They all have spelling errors that have been duplicated through the years. Most transcribers use previous versions and seem to perpetuate the errors that occurred. There is no cemetery office or records on site. But I DID notice yesterday when looking for NICK that the map board on site only includes one Nick Delva so the error must be from the transcription. (Not that the cemetery records are perfect either as they have been recreated from city and funeral home records and there are missing people) Sorry I can't be more help and more definite.

|Couple of Gravers||Jacob Biever|
I'd be happy to link Jacob to his family if you will send the memorial page numbers. I will also give you credit, with a link back to your profile page. That way, any family would be able to contact you too.

|WRB||RE: Frank Biever - 99444942|
Based on the internment list, he is the only Frank listed.

|WRB||Frank Biever - 99444942|
Do you happen to know who Frank was married to? I have found a Frank B:1890, D:1928? There is only one Frank in the cemetery listing for this cemetery. Big difference in dates.

|Tracy Anne||RE: Baby Boy Alms in Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon|
I didn't see any other Alms graves around his grave but Woodlawn is a huge cemetery (about 55000 burials). And not burials all have been put on line (and a few with mistakes).
The good thing is that the City of Saskatoon has their burial records online. So you might check this out to see if the Alms parents are in the City database but not in Findagrave. The url is below or use the links in the Woodlawn cemetery description.
If you find them in the City database, put a memorial page for them in Findagrave and then submit a photo request. There is a another person who also picks up photo requests in Woodlawn.

|Tracy Anne||Baby Boy Alms in Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon|
I will be uploading a photo shortly to accompany Baby Boy Alms' memorial in Woodlawn as per your photo request (his grave is unmarked). I just wanted to let you know that the memorial page has listed the wrong plot # and death date for Baby Boy Alms. The correct plot # is 48-L007-W1/2C1/3, and his death date was March 2 1915. I have asked the owner of the memorial to correct the date and plot number on baby Boy Alms' memorial page. The City database contains the correct information.

Could you please send me a copy of the complete obituary
I'm sorry but the person who created this memorial is deceased. I can make changes to the page but I don't have the obituary that he was referring to.

Sure I'll add the links. What are they so that I can put them in correctly?

|L Poe||Alms pictures|
I have tried twice to take pictures at the Wm Alms mauseleum. The entrance door is chained shut. I was able to get the one Burdsal picture to come out, but all the others are almost impossible to read. I had to try to work the camera between the bars on the window of the door, and then, if you use a flash all you see is the glare on the marble surface. If you don't have a flash, it is very dark. I tried to edit the photos, and if I lighten them and adjust the contrast you still can't read what they say. I am willing to e-mail you what I have and then you can decide. Maybe someone else can get better pictures or if you know if there are any local family who have access to the inside of the mauseleum.
