You added a photo to her memorial in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Are you a relative? Her husband was a cousin of my grandfather.

Hi. Just came across your site at Find A Grave Memorial# 27009524

Do you happen to know who his parents were? I have Wright family in NC whom I have still yet to identify parents. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

RE: Mary Hester Powers Bolton
Hello Renae, you are right about her name. The Find A Grave member who originally created the page for Mary put the wrong name on her memorial page. I asked her to correct the name but she transfer the page to me instead. I actually forgot to correct it. Mary is a branch on our family tree by marriage. I will transfer her memorial to you since she is your great aunt. I also found her marriage certificate.

RE: William Nyce Golden
Glad to assist. William's headstone is made of soapstone, so it's definitely wearing down after over 100 years, but a little water and a soft soft cleaned it up enough to get a good photo of it. Lydia's headstone looks like granite.

William Nyce Golden
Just an FYI on the memorial for William Nyce Golden, Memorial # 31646238. Some corrected information. You have him listed in Woodlawn Abbey cemetery. Woodlawn Abbey is on the privately owned mauseleum on the grounds The graves in the cemetery are actually considered part of Sumner Cemetery. The newer Sumner Cemetery is across the road, and the city of Sumner took over the older graves as well.

Also, his headstone reads that is was in the 139 Ohio Inf, not 132nd.

I also found a headstone for his wife Lydia and added that to her page. She is also in Sumner Cemetery, right next to him.
