|E F||RE: Tutt Location|
According to St. Joseph Co Cemetery Inscription book vol 5, by the South Bend Area Genealogical Society, Tutt Cemetery is located on the South side of Cleveland Road, 1/4 mile west of Ironwood Road in Clay Township.
The book said that this cemetery has also been known as Stuckey, Brooks, Sossoman/Sosserman, and Clay Township Cemetery.
It also states that rows begin in the Northeast corner and run North to South.
Thanks for your help,

I would love to see pictures of Ida if you find any. In a distant way we are step cousins, Alfred, Erdman, Lorenz and Hilda are first cousins to me. I would love to add your line to the family tree. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org Some of the Holtz family still live in Ionia. Chuck Booth the son of Irene Holtz lives on Batson across from what was part of the Kosbar land.
Thanks for the request for transfer, Tim Holtz.

My grand-parents, Herbert Holtz and Milred Wood were the witnesses at the wedding. Marie's brother Ernest was Mildred's step-father.

I went to Cedar Grove Cemetery, on the campus of Notre Dame, but could not find the grave of "Moose." From the main entrance on Notre Dame Ave., where do I go to find the grave. Apparently, from the photo of the grave stone, you have been there at the grave. Will be glad for any directions. I met the Moose only one time back in the late '70s in a convenience store. Thanks for any help.

In looking at the headstone for John Dempsey (died 1852) that you took. Is it possible that his wife is listed on the same headstone? Right through the crack on the headstone could that say Betsey? What ever is below it I am not able to make out. It looks like what is in the crack might say Betsey. Thanks for takeing the pictures. Cindy C.

Thank you for the pictures of the Dempsey's in the Howe Cemetery. I had found the following web site http://www.usgennet.org/usa/mi/county/berrien/Howe.htm
and thought that there would be a head stone. If you live in the area and happen to go back I also am interested in their daught Betsy J. Best (1837-1887) and husband John A. Best (died about 1893/8)in the same cemetery.
Thanks so much for all your help. Cindy C.

You had taken a photo of PFC Duane Larson's headstone. I was wondering if you still have the original picture on hand in a higher resolution? I'm working on a project to honor the fallen 503rd, 462nd and 161st men of WWII. This would help with my project.
