 | RE: Nixon Jason,
I have the entire Nixon Family Genealogy. My paternal family were from Vinton County and friends of the Nixons. The President's Great Grandmother is buried next to part of my family in McArthur, Ohio.
I contacted the memorial creator of the memorial for Samuel Brady Nixon and tried to get him to make the familial links on Samuel's memorial, but he failed to respond or make the links.
Here is the URL for Samuel's memorial here at Find A Grave :
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Nixon&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSst=37&GScnty=2121&GScntry=4&GSob=n&GRid=34500746&df=all
I have a few friends remaining from the Nixon lineage here in Ohio and they have written to the memorial creators about making the connections to the various Nixon memorials, also to no avail.
When you plan to visit our Church/Cemetery, please feel free to contact me and I will meet you there and provide you with the historical information. I live 5 miles from the Church and repair the stones and help maintain the cemetery.
