|Mike Freels||RE: George Niman|
I couldn't find any dates on the stone. There is the information about his Confederate Service.
Company F 2 Tennessee Cavalry
Civil War Confederate
Death date unknown
I'll check with some people I know and see if we can come up with some dates to add to his information.
Also he has a middle initial, George H. Niman.

|Natalie Halverson||mt Olivet Cemetery|
Hello. I have been trying to fulfill photo requestd in Mt. Olivet. However, they charge to look up the names and give you locations of the graves. If you would like the photos, you need to call them and have them give you the section, plot and grave number. Once this is done, I will gladly take the photos and post them. I do this as a service to others, I cannot afford to pay for the cemetery to look in their records.
You can contact me through find a grave.

I just wanted to know if you were aware of this memorial to John Andy's sister, Mary Ann: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=wright&GSiman=1&GScid=52777&GRid=24820705&
I sent an edit request to findagrave, as the current member name is innactive, to have her bio and maiden name as well as her nickname added.

|Jason O||error in last post|
I just noticed an error in my last post. I told you we were related tohrough Eliza Jane Griffin's mother. That isn't the case. (I was mistaking this Eliza Jane for her sister-in-law, Eliza Jane (Collins) Dunkley. Eliza Jane (Collins) Dunkley's husband's name is the same in first and middle - William Harvey - as Eliza Jane (Dunkley) Griffin's father. Eliza Jane (Dunkley) Griffin's father also had the "middle name or nickname "Booker" if I'm not mistaken, which differentiates between him and his son.)
Sorry for the confusion,

I noticed your findagrave memorial of Andrew John Griffin. Is there any chance of locating the burial of his parents? If you're related to this Griffins, then we're related much earlier through Eliza Jane's Collins ancestry. You can see the memorial to Eliza Jane's mother, which includes a picture of her as well as links to her grandparents and great grandfather, by copying/pasting the following link: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=32036788

|L.N.D.||BYERS, MARY & W.|
I looked at the interment records to find the section and plot numbers because this is a huge cemetery. If you get a chance, would you add these numbers to your request so they will be easier to locate.
Mary Byers, buried 11/20/1913, section 12, lot 64.
Mother is Willie A. Nelson.
W.C. Byers, 72 years. Section 16, Lot 163 (East). Buried 04/22/1930. Owner: Mrs. John Byers.
Are these the correct Mary and William?

Your welcome, I was lucky that I had a GPS. This cemetery is at a dead-end rock road miles into nowhere. I was glad to do it, many of my requests have been filled by volunteers or I'm just doing my part to "return the favor" for someone else.
