RE: Thank you
I see from one of Jame's baby photos, his father was David Saunders. James and family moved to California sometime during the 1950's.

RE: Thank you
Looking thru my papers, Matilda Bell McIlvanie was born Dec. 1, 1892, married a Saunders (no first name), and they had a son James Saunders. She died Oct. 20, 1918. James resided with my mother and her parents, off and on, and he went to school in Melrose, New Mexico. From page 2 of a 1932 letter, my mother wrote, which is in the Lois McIlvanie album, school wasn't James' cup of tea:)

Yes, I have it on the flickr site. My name there is simms54. I think you need a yahoo id to log in, or you might have to join (for free). If you can't find me as simms54, search John McIlvanie or Addie Perkins and my photos should come up. Matilda "Tillie" McIlvanie was my mother's adoptive father's sister. It would be in my "John McIlvanie" album. Carl Simpson

Maybe if you ask Dusting Trails who put the memorial up. I know nothing about this person.

Mary Mae Saunders
Leeann,

No I'm sorry, I have never done any research on this family, nor are we related. However, you might try contacting the person who added a very nice photo of her, Labled "Aunt Mary Mae Saunders".

Good Luck,
Kathy

RE: Saunders
Hi Leann,
I'm sorry to say that Portis is almost a 4 hour drive for me. I live in Wichita, KS. I'm hoping to do more driving up north to do some graving in the near future but don't know when I'll be able to get out. Kids are out for the summer so I have not been able to do much long distance graving lately.

Take care
Judy

ELECTRA ELIZABETH CASWELL
This is my 1st cousin 3x removed. I have found her married to Derril Clinton Phelps. I know this is the correct person because the parents and siblings match.
She is buried at North Middleton Baptist/Acacia Cemetery. You can go to the following site to prove this to yourself.
If you are not a relative, and wouldn't mind, would you transfer the family, parents and children to me?
Thank you for posting this family. My heart smiled when I found them already here. Thank you for all your hard work. It is really appreciated.

Thank you so much!
I appreciate the excellent pictures of the graves of John and Martha Dillie, and James and Elizabeth Pleasant. I only put up the request yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised to get your photos today.

You have blessed my family research by adding these pictures.

Thank you again.

LeeAnn~
I checked this site, which I also use, and thankfully found your memorials. I have added Nathan Dugger, I don't know if you remember him, I was devastated when he was killed in Tennessee. I am glad I found your family here so I can continue to honor them.

Caswell's in Rose Center Cemetery
Hi Leeann-
Just wanted to ask that you might link all of the four Caswell's in the Rose Center Cemetery (Oakland County)together. I am sure that you know that Lee and Mildred are husband and wife and that Alva and Mary are Lee's parents. In my genealogy research, just two days ago, I found them, finally and requested the photos for the Memorials in Find A Grave. That request was filled this morning. I told the photographer that Lee and Mildred lived next door to me in Rose Center back in the mid 1940's, that their son Kenny was there as well. The surprising thing is that I found out on Ancestry that Lee and I were second cousins and I never knew it until a few days ago, 65+ years too late to enjoy the relationship. I don't know if you are related to them or not; or if you know whatever happened to Kenny. I would like to know anything that I can find out and include interesting stories on my Ancestry family tree as I have done with other relatives. Thanks for putting the memorials on there for me to find. Art Stone
