|Arnold L. Corkins||Illinois Links|
I'm sorry for that first msg. No, I'm really sorry I have no links for Illinois but I wish I did. A lot of my family came from Illinois. I just lucked out and found the Missouri one.

i think the rule is he can't deny to do updates or suggestions unless he can prove that what is sent is totally wrong. and how would he know since he doesn't do anything!!!!!

|Janice Prichard||RE: Hi|
i have been sending him 20-80 bios per week so i can get findagrave to do them faster. now they are picking a few out and i have to re-research and send them documents to prove what is in the bio because they have it in their rules!! i'm getting ready to invoke that "rule" and have him declared inactive. went on a vacation over the holiday and were able to get 37 more bios done because of the 3 they wanted to have re-done. it's a royal pain in the butt but at least these memorials are getting updated---i've made it up to the C's in st mary's!!!!!

Yes I received several request from him regarding my pet memorials as well as other memorials that he found "issues" with. He was very pushy in telling me what I needed to correct & began threatening to report me to Find A Grave if I did not accept his edits. I did accept some edits but I ignored some as well. Anyways, after trying to get my point across to him without being ugly (which did not work by the way) I contacted Find A Grave with the details of what had been going on b/c I am not going to be bullied! As a fellow member, I do appreciate his dedication to be as informative as possible but in my opinion, pet memorials are irrelevant to anyone other than the person listing them. I too can see from his profile page that I am not the only one that seems to have problems with him which leads me to believe he may have been reported before. Whether or not it will do any good is yet to be determined. After all, he has been a member for a very long time. I truly hope you can figure out how to get to the bottom of your problem. The only advice I can give you is to be as informative as you can with your memorials & if you are having trouble with something or someone, report it, what can it hurt.? If you don't stand up for yourself, who will!? Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I would love to have them, if you don't mind..hopefully, the snow will hold off for a few more weeks, so I can get back over for a little more exploring. There are a few more people I'm hoping to find, both on Kim's and my families.

Thank you for the lovely token left for my father, David Jones...much appreciated. Interesting that your mother worked for Raytheon! My dad worked there from 1952-1964. Also noticed that your father was from Waltham, Mass...my dad was born and raised in Waltham as well...small world.
All my best to you and your family.

You're very welcome. Your bio for Jim really bought him to life for me. Having lost my brother Cory, I can relate to how you feel. For me, posting a memorial for Cory helped me to finally grieve properly. Thank you for your note.

|Tigress||Sgt George Hogan|
Dear Judith, Thank you so very much for honoring the memory of my cousin George Hogan, who perished in a combat mission over the Pacific in WWII. Although I never knew George, he was much beloved by my mother, sister and grandparents. Through the kindness of Find A Grave members such as you, his bravery and sacrifice are not forgotten. Janice aka Tigress

The cemetery has an online burial search that can be found here - http://services.waltham.ma.us/cemetary/wc/disclaimer.aspx It is a combination of the 2 city owned cemeteries and is quite accurate, there are some things about the lay out of the cemetery that you need to know especially for the single graves but once you are aware of those then it is easy to at least get in the right section to search for a grave.

You are welcome. I added the photos to Ethelyn's memorial as well. If you add Russell, Ella and Baby Mary I can add to those as well. I live 5 minutes from the cemetery so I took a walk over today to complete the photo requests.
