Traci's Mom
Token you left for Traci Fields

Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.

I had set a goal of 5,000 flowers/tokens for Traci by her birthday on November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and many other findagravers, Traci has received 6,198 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and me extremely happy.

I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.

Sharon (Traci's mom)

I'm sorry but I think I have the wrong Purvis listed as Maxine Martin Purvis husband. I am not sure now if Vernon Purvis was her husband. Sorry for the inconvenience.

lucuis Purvis
Good morning, I am hoping that you might be able to help me or direct me to someone that may know information about Lucuis' son Vernon E. Purvis. He died in 1987. He was married to my mother's half sister, Nita (Maxine) Purvis. I am looking for her. She is the last living sibling of my mother's family. I presume that Maxine was probably Vernon's second wife. She was born in 1932. Her last known area where she lived is Okeechobee, FL. If you know her address or any contact information, I would be so appreciative. My name is Shirley Price Nance. My email is 480-326-4620. I am the daughter of her 1/2 sister (Delphia Martin Price). Mom passed in 2002 in UT. Thank you.

While doing research here the photo of your lovely daughter came up. I read the lovely obituary and saw the beautiful photos that you added and just wanted to reach out to you. I had no children, didn't marry until last year at 51, so I cannot know your grief. I lost my mother a couple of years ago, and even though they say that with time the pain eases, I still grieve. I know that no matter how much time passes, you will still feel the loss of your daughter, but I hope that the wonderful memories of her and the joy it sounds like she brought others, will give you comfort. Thinking of you and your family.

Goff Family
I am a paternal great great daughter of Captain William M.Goff. I just found this website and your posts. Thanks for your efforts. I live about an hour away from Englewood.

My grandmother was Nettie Rebecca Conway Nobles daughter of Eleanor (Effie/Ellie/Ella) Goff and Clyde Conway. We attended the Lemon Bay Centennial in 1978.

Nettie died in 1948, the year I was born .She is buried in Fort Myers cemetary on Michigan Avenue.

The cemetery is highly visible, but some of the Goff markers cannot be read. Is there an way to restore the wording?

Thanks again.

You're welcome Shirley. I also added some more Goff memorials in that cemetery along with a Doris G. Browning who was in the Goff plot.

Clyde Barber
Yesterday I went to the Rose Hill Cemetery, Kissimmee FL, Plot 1 186 2B to find the grave of Clyde Barber. I didn't actually find HIS grave, but did find the grave of a JEWEL C. BARBER b. 17 Sep 1920, d. 10 Feb 1964, who according to the Florida Marriage Collection (Vol 455, #17697) is JEWEL CLYDE BARBER, who married a Leona Padgett in 1938. If you would like me to upload the photo of the Jewel C. Barber gravestone, please let me know.
