|Combs26||William Oliver Wagers and Margaret Wagers|
William Oliver (W.O.)Wagers # 61556115 and his first wife Margaret Hibbard Wagers,# 61556514, are buried in a cemetery on Martins Creek. I didn't know the name of the cemetery, so I just called it the W.O. Wagers Cemetery. His father Silas is buried there also, along with a family friend. There are four burials in the cemetery which is quite large. I think the Wagers Cemetery is located about 7 miles up Brightshade on Hwy 1504 on the home place of Oscar and Ruth Wagers. Their son Ezra lives there at this time I he had not passed away.. If you can, merge the two entries for Margaret and William Oliver. I took photographs, but didn't post them yet.

|Janice Hale||Miles Stewart # 340676960|
Miles is my grandfather through my mom Jerry Evelyn Stewart Harmon. Miles and Delsie had 6 children Charles Dewey, Jerry Evelyn, Mary Lula, Tommy David, Glyn Dudley, and Joyce Ruth. Miles also had more siblings than listed. There was also a Lee, a Joe and an Anna Mae. I am researching my family tree and came across this site. Thanks for the information listed. Just wanted to fill in the blanks of what I knew... interesting to see their marriage certificate.

|Betty Smith ||Lincoln smith|
Death date for lincoln smith is not correct...he is in 1920 census right below grandson george smith written as tink smith. Tink is my great grandfather...trust me on this. More like 1925. He was also at daisy wedding and uncle preston lived with him and rosanna after nancy valentine skipped off to florida. I think 1914 is the lincoln smith married to susan mattingly...someday i will share my pic of jabel, lincoln, john daniel and my dad...

|Debbie DuBrucq||Evy's parentage|
Evy's death cert shows his mother to be Elizabeth Johnson. I have found 2 different Isaac Messers', one in Clay County and one in Knox County with wives named Elizabeth and Lizzie. Has any birth record been found for Evy or maybe an obit that shows him to be a child of Isaac and Lizzie vice Elizabeth Johnson?

|Lisa||Isham Stewart 1850 US Census|
Thank for the information on Isham Stewart and family. If my genealogy is correct, he would be my partner's fourth great grandfather. I just wanted to let you know that an Isham Stewart appears in the 1850 US Census living in Clay County, Kentucky, along with his wife, Margaret, and seven of his children. The children are: Sally, Nancy, Eli, Rebecca, Isaac, Joseph, and James. I hope this is useful to you.

|Judy Jennings||Leander D Jarvis|
Hi Sharon, I am helping a 92 year old descendent of Leander join DAR through his daughter Mahala Jarvis Cottongim who died c1906. Mahala married William J Cottongim. On Leander's info you posted you referred to his pension application....Do you have the original copy of the Pension? The pension would help so very much because it gives Mahala's birth date. DAR will not process her application without further proof.
Thank you for your time and maintaining these findagrave memorials.

The information in the obituary is wrong. Keith Grubb is still living. Phillip Jason is the son that is deceased. I will try to get you the birth date of Betty Jo from her sister in law. Betty Jo's husband was my first cousin.

|Combs26||William Oliver (W.O. Wagers)|
Hello Sharon...W.O. Wagers is buried in a cemetery close to my brothers home. He said they think it is called the Wagers Cemetery. Its on Hwy 2000 on Martins Creek near the old home place. I know that he married a lady named Opal from Williamsburg after his first wife passed away. She was a former hair dresser and a teacher. We think his first wife is buried in this cemetery along with his mother and father. I will be checking when I go over there. Bonnie has passed away too. My brother thought she had been buried somewhere around Lexington. She has a son and a daughter. I will do some checking and get back to you. Did W.O. have a brother named Floyd???

|April Elzinga||Sarah Smith Stewart|
Thank you for the information you have so thoughtfully put together regarding Sarah Smith Stewart. She was my maternal 4th Great-Grandmother.
Genealogy is so wonderful! It has been the catalyst for allowing me to meet distant cousins from all over the U.S.
I didn't see a cemetery listed for Sarah. I'm still trying to find the cemetery in Kentucky where she may be buried.
Thank you for your efforts in genealogy. It makes a world of difference for all of us searching for our ancestors.
