RE: Charles Golder #141015230
Nancy, thank you so much for the update on Charles Golder! I made the changes to his memorial and added a note that you had ferreted out this info.

Does the fact that he's in Grave no. 6 at Greenfield mean there are more Golders there?

Thanks again for your great detective work!

RE: Oakley Wright,Rockville Ctr
When LDS recorded the inscriptions weren't there markers at that time? Otherwise where could they have gotten the inscription information of memorials put up before 1944?

The Long Island Genealogy website claims Oakley was the son of first wife Lydia rather than second wife Mary Jane Brush. Not sure what source this claim is based on.

Oakley Wright, Kummer Rockville Ctr
Was there ever a photo for Oakley Wright's memorial in Rockville Ctr. (#24689771). I ask because he is listed in the 1950s LDS transcriptions of the gravestones in that cemetery, but there is no photo uploaded of a memorial for him or his wife Susan, so I am wondering how LDS got the date of death. (I have found through the NYc Municipal Vital Records that a great manymembers of that Wright family are buried in that cemetery without markers. (I suspect both Oakley's father and grandfather are buried there).

Speaking of photos of that cemetery, could you repost the lovely photo that you took of Georgianna Kummer's memorial (121920258) to her daughter's memorial Ethel Kummer (152144214)?

John J. Clarkin
Nancy, what you did was perfect. Now I am thinking... would it be good to add John J. Clarkin's war credits to his biography? It is quite something what he did for this country, he fought in WWII and in Vietnam, where he lost his life.

Added by Marcial on Nov 11, 2015 12:37 PM

Clarkin already did it. That's ok.

Added by Marcial on Nov 11, 2015 11:48 AM

Just a note. Margaret's year on birth on the headstone is 1883. I see you have a link to her husband. I'll upload the photos on his memorial also.

RE: Clarkin
I was my pleasure, particularly when there is a headstone.

I just realized that Oliver has 10 children and I only have two linked to him and his wife.

I have some work to do.

RE: Walter Jonhson Abrams
Hi Nancy,

I only have one Grace Smith, born in 1895 to Oliver Winfield Smith and Sarah Adelia Hubbard. She was married to James Humes. She was my grandmother's sister.

I have a Walter Johnson Abrams, born 1868, who was married to Grace's sister, Bravetta Harriet Smith.
Does this help?

Nancy, My memorial was created in January yours in October. Yours is the duplicate. Why don't you ask the admins to merge the two memorials?

Charles L Wright (b. 1881)
Thanks a lot for the clarification.

Do you happen to know what other names are on graves are around Charles L Wright's i.e. is he in some sort of family plot? I ask because I suspect this is the brother of my great-grandmother, but the cemetery has lost the records of people buried before the 1940s. Also, do you know what section of the graveyard this stone is in?

RE: Charles L. Wright b. 1881
I was asking about the Rockville gravestone of Charles L Wright (23563247) born 1881, not Charles Wright (31887907) born 1831. I cannot read the word(s) inscribed below the dates as a dark shadow is cast over the stone. You took the picture of it so I was hoping you could enlighten me as to what the word(s) say.

Charles Wright in Rockville
Can you read the inscription below Charles' Wright's (23563247) name and dates (1881-1904)? The dark shadow cast over the stone makes it hard to read.

Ken B
Stead at Greenfield
Hi, Nancy. I was at Greenfield this week to fulfill your request for Stead. I searched the entire section 21 and found no marker for Stead or Lot 102. I'm posting a photo to your memorial of the vicinity of that Lot (white cross added). The large stone at the right edge of the photo is #104; the other two have no numbers on them but should be #101 and 103. If you don't want the photo, let me know and I''ll remove it.

Hello Nancy,

Could you upload the #6286698 grave photo to #131598211 please? It's a husband and wife monument and I have just created the Memorial for his wife.

Mabel Davison born 191
Mabel Davison (#58491690) born in 1901 cannot possibly be the daughter of a Robert Davison #58480267 who was born in 1900 and an Ada Davison who was born in 1901. Is this Mabel Davison the sister rather than daughter of Robert Davison? If so, her father would be Frederic Davison #5879928, not Robert Davison #58480267.

Robert Davison
Thanks for putting the photo you made for Nancy Davison's memorial onto her husband's memorial.
