Muirs of Oregon
I am delighted to see gravestones from the Muir family from Ontario Canada. I am a descendant from the original Scottish familiy that came to Canada via Lanark County in Ontario to settle in Muir/Burford area of Southern Ontario. The original Scottish Family is John U. Muir and Margaret Brown: Allen Muir (the youngest of this family) and I come from the 2nd son John born in 1802.

Helen Jeanette Utting 1898-1899

I was wondering where you learned that Helen was born 5 May 1898 and died 11 Apr 1899. A Family Bible, perhaps?

I'm directly descended from her sister Ada.

Thank you, Beth

In just sent another message. I misspelled her brother's surname in the funeral notice. It is, Roy Stone. Stone is her maiden name and I would like you to use it.

Cemeterys in Troutdale
Good evening,

How often do you get out to Mountain View Stark Pioneer Cemetery? And do you go out to the Douglass Cemetery? I'm a volenteer out at Douglass and spend some time cleaning and trimming around some of the headstones and uploading to this site......
I've been talking to Metro about getting a group going for Douglass Cemetery called "Friends of Douglass" and we where going to look for people who would like to join and I had seen that you had uploaded a bunch for Mountain View Stark Pioneer Cemetery and wasent sure if you wanted to join the group once it gets up and running.

Rickert Family (Elihu and Anna)
Please note I am working with a Rickert descendant and I want to thank you for the great notes listed on Elihu and Anna Rickert's memorial pages. I was wondering if you could link these two individuals, Elihu #27869933 and Anna #27929536 as your note states they are man and wife. I would greatly appreciate it and thank you so much.

Site's done by JHagel
Sites are done with great care, and with time invested. Those of us who live a long ways away, and could not get to these sites, and may not have even known that they even exsiteded, cherrish the time and efforts of those who share like you. My G-grandmother's site was something I had search for for a long time. I had no idea, that someone else had taken the time to find it, photograph it and display it in a place where I could view it, with out even leaving my home. Thank you so much for all you do. For those you have not even met. Bless you! :-) Greatly!!

Thank you for transferring James Lynn Wilson's page to me. I included a biography on him as he was an amazing man traveling over the Oregon Trail in 1853. I hope I did him justice.
