Daniel Danielson
You can also "Begin New Search" and list the name "Daniel Danielson", US, South Dakota, Lincoln County. You should come up with two Daniel Danielson's. The one in Skrefsrud Lutheran Church Cemetery, Beresford, Lincoln County, South Dakota is buried with his wife Bertha. (It also shows the stone.)

Daniel Danielson
Hi Ellen,
The cemetery is Skrefsrud Lutheran Church Cemetery, Beresford, Lincoln County, South Dakota.
If you bring up your memorial for Daniel and then click on the left on "Find all Danielson's" in "Lincoln county SD" the name comes up with the cemetery stone. or you can click on "Begin New Search" and type in the memorial number 64560834 and find the memorial that way. I hope this helps.

RE: Claymore Family Cemetery
It's times like this that I wished I still lived back in North Dakota. I will check this out as much as I can but I agree with you. The obituary itself, if I remember correctly, does not state exactly where she was buried. I did send a note to the funeral home on the other Claymore Family Cemetery in Sioux County to see if they can tell me exactly in the Fort Yates area it is.
Sincerely,
Mike

RE: Claymore Family Cemetery
Thank you Ellen. I appreciate you replying. I did get a note from the lady who placed the memorial in the South Dakota Claymore Family Cemetery but she had no idea of anything as she just posted the obituary as written. I am more concerned with the location of the Claymore Cemetery located in Sioux County so I guess I'll try and see if the mortuary people know for sure where it is. Again, thanks getting back to me.
Sincerely,
Mike Peterson

RE: thanks for the info
You're welcome. It is such an unused and forgotten little cemetery. I was so glad to see that you had put up memorial pages for all those buried there. I appreciated that and I really enjoyed checking into them.

Claymore Family Cemetery
Hi,
I am the coordinator for the NDGenWeb Sioux County website. I am trying to get a clarification of the Claymore Family Cemetery and was hoping you could help. There is a memorial for Mary Anne Victoria Claymore and having her buried at Claymore Family Cemetery in North Eagle Butte, Dewey County, South Dakota. You have a memorial for Sidney Carl Claymore and he is buried at Claymore Family Cemetery in Fort Yates, Sioux County, North Dakota. Since they are over 100 miles apart I'm inclined to think they are different but I wanted to make sure. I would certainly appreciate any of your knowledge on these two cemeteries. I want to set up a page on the Sioux County website for the cemetery but I don't have any location data, directions, etc. If by chance you would have a better location than findagrave, gps, pictures, etc. anything, I would certainly appreciate your help and I thank for your time in reading this.
Sincerely,
Mike Peterson

No problem. I would have never noticed had I not found the 1940 census.

George Boomer murder 1885
I found your note in a Google search! Here's what you say: "Rosa witness the murder of George Boomer by John Swezey 3 August 1885. She had to testify at the trial. The Boomer homestead was located just short distance from the Parkison cabin." This note is on the memorial for Rose Cameron Parkson. George Boomer was my great grand-aunt Isabella Lynden's first husband. And, um, his killer was her second husband, John Swesey. Do you have any additional information about the trial? I can find nothing to indicate what the verdict ultimately was. Sad days in the Wild West!

Thank you -
Diane

Thanks for creating the memorial and all the nifty info on it. It is nice to see members like yourself going the extra mile! I am not family to the Waterhouse's either, but it is rewarding to get them all linked up! Thanks!

RE: Edits
I sent you several edits for that little cemetery. You are the local expert so any you feel are wrong, feel free to deny. I did some quick research on Ancestry, but that is all. Susan

RE: carl W Nordin
I'll leave it to you to figure out the Charles & Carl Nordin mystery. My husband was visiting in the area and very quickly took the pix in the rain for me so some are better than others. But glad to add what he found since there weren't any uploaded for that that little cemetery. We are in West Virginia so no do-overs, LOL! Susan

Oh, too bad. Will have to see if I can find that unfamiliar name anywhere. Maybe that was the original spelling of Tsiska.
Thanks so much for checking on it.

I live in the Vetal area. Back in the 1930's my parents rented a house from Anton. One of the houses he built was for my grandparents, Ed & Martha Livermont. One of my goals is to get to the Old Vetal cemetery, but it is out in pasture land and hard to get to.

RE: thanks for the obit
There is a Frank Tiska (sp) 1864-1917 buried in the same county as this family. I'm quite sure it is his father, but don't know how to find out. The grave is in the "Old Vetal Cemetery" in Bennett Co. and you recorded it.
I doubt if they had a census back then.

Wisconsin is my dads family...which is why I started genealogy 15-20 years ago. Found many cousins. Just needed to stay away from SD for awhile till things settled down. Have they?????

You're welcome. I noticed you very quickly changed the spelling. You always do make suggested changes promptly and I thank you for that. The census listings were interesting.
