RE: Bay gravestones
Hi, Tom!
I and Jeanne Allan (whom I believe you know) are related to the Bay family through Phoebe (Bay) Rannells, daughter of Benjamin Franklin Bay (1774-1825) and Greselda Campbell (1775-1873) and the wife of Charles Samuel Rannells (1831-1902).
Phoebe is the grandmother of our great-grandfather, Charles Mattoon Foster (1842-1907).
I'm so happy to see how much time and effort you've put into gathering the photos of the gravestones of the Bay line... sometimes it gets confusing with the multitude of children and their children... lots of the same names!!
I will, of course, give you credit for the photos and descriptions. I usually write something like this:
'Photo of the gravestone of Phoebe (Bay) Rannells (image courtesy of Tom Bay via Find-A-Grave memorial).'
Again, thank you for the 'ok' to download your images!!
Sincerely
Ro Fleury

Bay gravestones
Hi, Tom!
I was wondering if you would authorize the downloading of your lovely pictures of the Bay family (in Penn & Ohio) and their family members' gravestones. I would like to apply them to my family tree in Ancestry.
Thanks and great work on the images!!

Elizabeth Bay
I am researching the family of Benjamin Blackburn who died ca 1789 in Washington County, Tennessee.
Is this Elizabeth Bay his daughter who married Thomas Bay? If so, she is my g-g-g-g-grandfather's sister. I am descended from Robert Blackburn, son of Benjamin Blackburn. Robert was a Revolutionary War soldier and fought at the Battle of Kings Mountain.
