Hi Marina,Could you check on Find A Grave# 19813349 for Thomas Andrews and see if you have the right gravestone? It looks like your date is 175- and he died 1690.I couldn't read your stone. Thanks Bill

Lina and Peter Peterson
Greetings:

I believe I have the Running Valley Cemetery issue in hand. I created memorial pages for Lina and Peter in the correct cemetery and transferred management to you. I posted pictures of their stones on those pages. The other pages can be deleted as you see fit.

Thanks,

-Dave

Peter and Lina Peterson
Hi,

I am still working on this project. There are three "Running Valley" cemeteries. Lower Running Valley Cemetery is located in Dunn County. Although this is where you have them listed, Peter and Lina are not in this cemetery. Just up Highway A into Chippewa County are two more Running Valley cemeteries located across the street from each other. One of these cemeteries is on the property of Faith Lutheran Church of Running Valley (formerly Running Valley Free Church). This is the cemetery Peter and Lina are in. The other cemetery is on the grounds of North Running Valley Lutheran Church. I need to create a Find A Grave page for this other cemetery to make a distinction. The Chippewa County Historical Society lists these two cemeteries as "Running Valley Cemetery" and "North Running Valley Cemetery". That is how they will be listed when I finish. I hope you can understand what I'm trying to do. I'm sorry this has turned into such a complicated mess.

Thanks,

-Dave

Peter and Lina Peterson
Hi,

I believe the Running Valley Cemetery listed in Chippewa County, Wisconsin on Find A Grave is the correct one. You currently have them in Dunn County. If you will delete the old memorial pages and create new ones in Running Valley Cemetery and post new photo requests then I can fill them. I am not a descendant, but have had trouble several times with photo requests from these cemeteries.

Thanks,

-Dave

Peter and Lina Peterson
Greetings:

I encountered a problem trying to locate Peter and Lina's graves. They are not buried in Lower Running Valley Cemetery. They are buried in the graveyard adjacent to the Faith Lutheran Church of Running Valley in Chippewa County, Wisconsin. There are two churches across the street from each other so I am not sure which one the Running Valley cemetery listed in Chippewa County on Find A Grave refers to. I have very nice pictures of Peter and Lina's stones, but am not sure where to post them.

Thanks,

-Dave

Karen (Howard) Blood
Chilton memorial #28972097
Hi there!
I wanted to let you know that it appears a duplicate memorial has been created for this individual, spouse of James Chilton and mother of Mary.
It is #75239337
Yours was made earlier, but both of you have really great info (She has her name) and pictures and I was hoping you may be able to collaborate and create one memorial.
As a direct descendant I would really appreciate it.
Thanks for the great work you are putting onto findagrave!
Warmly,
Karen (Howard) Blood

RE: Samuel Doggett
Hi. I'm more than happy to share information. As you say, the same names often pop up over and over.

I have the whole of my family linking back to this side online at Ancestry.com, and if you send me your email address I can send you an invitation to view it.

I'm really pleased to have found so much, as I started on my father's family (surname Smith!) over 50 years ago, with very little luck for a long long time, then had a breakthrough last year.

Laurie

Polly and Nathaniel DAMON
I was wondering about your posts for Polly and Nathaniel Damon, in the Marshfield Hills Cemetery.
They are my 4th great grandparents.
Do you know if they have headstones?
If so, would it be possible to get a photo of them?
Thanks for your contributions!
K.

Marina - your photo of Thomas's stone is probably now the only photo of his stone from the time it was intact. His stone was the only one damaged by tropical storm Irene. I posted what the stone looks like now. - Chip

RE: Mayflower Passengers
John Alden is my ancestor so I love info on the Mayflower. Don't be sour, just know that these people are remembered. You did a great job and I for one enjoy them.

Again, Thank you

ps I would write to findagrave founder and let him know what happened and that you want to keep your memorials.

Quite a while back you sent me the following message:

Hello, I saw that you did a photo request for Cyrena Dyson Body. She is a relative of mine. I was wondering if you are also a relative and what you know about the circumstances of her death?

I don't have information for you on Cyrena death. She is my 1st cousing 4X removed. Her mother, Ruth McIndoo Dyson is my 3rd great grand aunt.

Sorry I am unable to help.

Asa Rogers-correction
I'm sorry, I was wrong about Asa Rogers being descended from 8 Pilgrims other than Thomas Rogers. It's the wife of Asa's brother Araunah who had those connections. Sorry about the confusion!

Asa Rogers
Marina, thank you for contributing the information about Asa Rogers and photos of his grave.

I'm researching the Rogers family, although not Asa specifically. I'm descended from one of his brothers. I've seen information tracing them back to at least eight Mayflower Pilgrims, but not to Thomas Rogers. Can you point me in the direction of your sources linking Asa Rogers to Thomas Rogers?

I was not aware of the Fuller Street, but would enjoy having photos of anything which might give a better feeling of the ancestral pilgrimage. Thanks!
