Robinson connection proved
Your husband William is connected to my Robinson ancestors. Hiram, Benjamin, William T. and Harry David Robinson. I will send you email with the full details. Look at the Find A Grave memorial 135239553 for the obituary which proves the connection.

Robinson connection ?
Angela - Your husband William Robinson may be a descendent of my third great grandfather Hiram Robinson. Hiram's son Benjamin was the father of William T. Robinson. Hiram was the father of my great grandmother Mary Robinson Baker. If interested, contact me using e-mail.

Hazel I Dickerson
Do you know if she is still alive?

Her mother was a second cousin of my great-grandfather, so if you are her descendant, then we are distant cousins...

I am sorry to report that I did find the grave but there isn't a headstone there. Some workers from the city helped me find the site. If there is anything else I can do please let me know .

Here are the Sims. No others are listed.

Sims, Alva Green Aug 14 1907 Jul 28 1977 NM-J-B3

Again, this information is from the data banks of the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society and it can be used only for genealogical research.

Ramage in San Luis Cemetery
Here is a comprehensive list of Ramages in that cemetery. The list comes from the San Luis Obispo Genealogical Society.

Yes Ramage, Andrew J 1865 1934 D
Yes Ramage, Cyrus Mar 13 1834 Aug 8 1916 E-1
Yes Ramage, Emily H 1888 1943 D
Yes Ramage, Geo W P G Dec 3 1827 Dec 17 1897 E-1
Yes Ramage, Gertrude M 1899 19?? B
Yes Ramage, Marie Aug 19 1901 May 21 2001 NM-H-T3
Yes Ramage, Walter L 1887 1982 NM-H-T3
Yes Ramage, Wilfred C 1896 1966

There is NO cooperation from the San Luis Cemetery with Find A Grave volunteers. However, according to the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society you can request a photo of who you are looking for by doing the following:
Address your email to
Put in the subject line San Luis Cemetery Headstone photo
Give them the name and birth and death dates, or as much as you know. Ask them to send a picture of the headstone, and tell them how you are related or what your interest is in this person. They will appreciate that.
They will send you the photo as an attachment to email. They took photos of the thousands of headstones they indexed in 2009 and 2010. They photographed virtually all headstones that could be deciphered. So pretty much everyone, who was buried there before 2009-2010 has a picture of their headstone in the database of the Genealogical Society. The society will respond to individuals, but prefers not to send pictures in bulk to Find A Grave volunteers. They also have not made an agreement to download their data to the Find A Grave servers.
As a reference here is the website for the index
Best wishes.

RE: Ludie Dickerson
I don't know either, but I thought the same thing.
She was married twice & maybe wanted that to be known.
Since the stones ARE SIDE BY SIDE, maybe they buried her the opposite way so she would be under BOTH stones !!!!

John Franklin Dickerson
Sumner Nebraska Cemetery
There are 2 records with identical dates on Find A Grave for John Dickerson and I'm pretty sure they are the same person. You may want to contact both managers and get one removed. I posted a photo to both records.

Richard B. Meyers
I tried sending you an e-mail instead of a public message but it didn't seem to work. I took a picture of the stone for Richard B. Meyers. Next to it are two stones. They seem to go with Richard's stone even if they do not match exactly. They say "Sophia Jane" 1867-1944 and William E. 1860-1929. They do not have last names on them and there is not a primary stone. I re-checked the directory to see if their last name was Myers. I did not find them. If they are connected to Richard and they are your relative, I could send you pictures of those stones as well.

Thank you for getting back to me - We have a lot of unmarked graves at Woodland, which is sad. It always bums me out to have to photograph my binder!

RE: Emma C Sutton Bowder
Hello, there wasn't a marker or headstone for your Bowder requests - sorry! I put my map binder in the area to marker their general whereabouts. I wish o had better news for you!

Quick question for you - when I'm filling a photo req and there isn't as headstone, I mark it as as problem, annotating that there isn't a marker but that I'll post a photo of the plot. Did you get any notification like that on one of these requests? Thanks for filling me in on what you see on your end!

Union cemetery is in process of recording all graves pre-1925 into digital format. The care taker took all information and will call me with the plot numbers and I will complete your request when he does.

Thanks for your efforts, it will be nice when they finish their documentation. It is really wonderful, that many cemeteries are beginning to make the efforts.
