Thank you so much for the transfer. I'm an Adler through and through - both my maternal and paternal grandparents are Adler. They are on the same family line, linked closely, to the Adlers in both Nebraska and Colorado. Some of the Adlers in Find A Grave are mixed up, and it's a real problem getting them in the right place. This is going to take me awhile, and your transfer is a very small start - but it helps. No, not within FindAGrave guidelines. Would you mind loaning his memorial long enough for me to add more about him & then return it to you, which would be easier. Or, if you had rather I'll put all the information together for you to add.
I spent most of yesterday finding & adding information to his son's memorial. He was just as well known in his own way.
Do you know if John was first buried in Beaver Hill & then transferred to GAR? You have created a lovely memorial for him. It's very impressive.

Thank you for the information. I just sponsored Anne's grave. Is it possible to transfer her to my name? My Find A Grave # is 47985132. I'm not sure how to do stuff like that or if it's possible. I just found out a couple years ago that she was my birth mother. I was adopted at 3 days old and was never told until 2010, by then Anne was already gone so I never got to know her. I have been in contact with her sister so I am learning some about her...
Anyway... just thought I'd ask.
