I have sent a few SACs (aka Suggest A Correction emails) on your duplicate memorials and the one triplicate memorial. Why won't you address them? This site does not allow duplicates so you really need to delete them. When a SAC is not addressed within 30 days, the sender can submit the email to Admins to be addressed. I entered the picture on her memorial and ask for a name correction. I did look up the social security death records and it has her name spelled the same as the tombstone. Future generations will be looking at this and will have a hard time finding their ancestor if the name is not spelled correctly. What you could do is correct the name on the memorial and in the note section you could let people know that the spelling was different. Thanks for you time. Hi Margaret,
I see you are having issues with duplication problems and people asking for you to delete the duplicated names.
Perhaps the easiest way for you to understand what is happening is for you to look at the list of 147 names you have made pgs for. By checking your list of names you will see the ones that you have made to many pgs for. You can have only 1 pg for a person, anything else is considered a duplication.
When I check your list of 147 names I see numerous ones that are duplicated, even some that are triplicated.
Some of the most common causes for duplications can be (1) if the enter key is hit more than once the Find A Grave system will spawn a duplicated entry, this happens to a lot of people (2) misspelled names, this also happens a lot (3) not checking ahead of time to see if the name was previously entered by someone else (4) not knowing for certain which cemetery burial was in and then moving it later without checking to see if it was already there.
The other members who have told you about your duplications are just trying to help you clean up and straighten out your entries, the requests are made to help not criticize. Most of us here on Find A Grave try to help each other. Its all about getting the info as correct as possible for future generations of researchers.
Basically if you will just look at your list of names first, then compare the dates on each name and you will see the ones duplicated. Just combine the info onto one pg and delete the rest. When there is a tombstone photo on a name, keep that pg and place the info onto it but delete the others with no photos.

As I've reiterated to you before, there are 2 Antioch Cemeteries in San Augustine, one Caucasian and one African America.

My husband David Rash is a great-great-grandson of Robert C Rash (1848-1913). I noticed your messages on his burial records and would love to find more information about his children and the names of his parents.
I am trying to verify that my husband David (son of Winifred Rash) is a descendant of Frank T Rash and from there we are trying to trace back the Rash line to the first Rash in America.

I don't believe this person that you added to Antioch Cemetery in San Augustine, TX belongs there. I added this African American cemetery to Find-A-Grave. I have knowledge of the family members interred there, and they are mostly from the African American Antioch and St. John Communities. Do you have proof this person is interred there and the relationship?
