RE: Riddle Memorial #8635371
I am not related; Claude Riddle gave me his book, which is where I got the family photos. If you check his memorial, you can see it is maintained by a family member and another descendant left a note. Regards, Margie

RE: Albert H. Fisher
According to Crown Hill's records the following with the surname Fisher are buried in the Lot. Albert H, Carl G, Carl G Jr., Earl, & Ida M. At the site there is no markers indicating names of those buried inside the mausoleum. I uploaded the photo to the above names on their memorial page. The Fisher plot is also very close to President Benjamin Harrisonand his two wives and Booth Tarkington and just down the hill from James Whitcomb Riley. Another interesting story about a British Captain buried in the mausoleum can be found at this link - http://http://lostindiana.net/carl-fisher-d-1934/

Albert H. Fisher
The Fishers in section 13 lot 42 are all entombed in the family mausoleum. Carl G. Fisher was a famous businessman and original founder of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Raymond Cemetery
Last Wednesday night Raymond Cemetery was vandalized, monuments tipped over & broken, "Solar Lights" smashed, and military flags & holders left in the front yard of the Raymond United Methodist Church which was also broken into. I am a member of that church as are some of the Twp. Trustees. The trustees will replace the flags but can't afford to replace the metal military flag ohlders. If you can let me know at ohiobird2000@yahoo.com if any of your memorials are military & who, I will let the trustees know, so they can replace the flags on the affected graves. Robin Fife

RE: Greenland, Ohio
The cemetery section says Greenland, Ohio. The undertaker is listed as living in Mt. Sterling, which is where she and her husband lived at while in Ohio. I'm certain she's buried in the Greenland Cemetery but don't know if she has a tombstone or not. It might have been eroded away or she might not even have a stone.

I found her death certificate and it says Greenland Ohio on the place of burial. She might not have a stone sadly. I know they were a pretty poor family.

RE: Clarinda Music Goble
Hello, ma'am. I thank you for your help with this. I've got a copy of great aunt Clarinda's death certificate, and it lists her place of death as Monroe district of Pickaway County, Ohio. On the certificate it has her place of burial as Greenland Cemetery. I googled "Greenland Cemetery in Pickaway County" and found the cemetery where I placed her online memorial. I'm not 100% certain that this is the same place, or if there was another Greenland Cemetery that's not been used in several decades, but all I've got to go on right now is the certificate I have.

RE: Barbara Fisher
Mam,

I have been exploring the cemetery for going on 4 years now. I have two sets of records I was able to dig out for the cemetery. The stone for Barbara that matches Jacobs was not the original stone.

The one that is there now was placed to match Jacob's, but it is broken so badly that pieces are missing. The big stone that I unearthed two years ago is cracked, but in one piece. Jacob's stone is broken in half, but can be cleaned and repaired.

I am going to have Jacob's stone cleaned and repaired and the one that I found for Barbara that I leaned against Absolom and Phillip's stones cleaned, the cracks filled and remounted in the place the broken stone for her grave is now. The one that is broken cannot be salvaged, but I will save the pieces. Phebe's stone will be repaired and cleaned by the end of the month, and all the Fisher stones will be cleaned and repaired by Memorial Day.

God Bless,
Tom S.

RE: Barbara Fisher
Mam,

Thank you for bringing the memorial to my attention. I DID NOT create the memorial. It was transferred to me by Find A Grave along with 1100 other memorials here in Ross county that were in error, containted false information and even social security numbers.

I have made the correction. I am a life member of the Ross County Genealogical Society and have all of the tombstone books for every township in Ross County. I can't understand why they would tell you they would make a correction when there is no SARAH Fisher even listed in Concord Township. Please, if you find anymore mistakes, use the edit tab on the memorial. Please make the creator aware of another injustice SHE did.

God Bless,
Tom S.

You're welcome Ann. I also posted a photo for his wife Hannah. The cemetery is, unfortunately, in poor shape. I had been out there looking before and did not find the graves. This time I found them buried under grass clippings.
