my grandpa Stanley Campbell
Hello I do not believe we know each other but I believe our grandfathers were brothers which would make us cousins. I am Jennies daughter and I was wondering if you have any more pictures of my grandparents? I do not have any and would really like some. You can email me at tinkerbell_070410@yahoo.com thank you very much and I would love to learn more about our family.

August Synoground
I have checked with the city records and August Synoground is buried in the Potters field section of the cemetery as many were whose family could not pay for the burial at that time. There is no stone at the plot they have designated as his burial plot as is the case for nearly all that are buried in this section. I can however take a picture of the ground/grass of the area if you desire that but will have to wait until the snow has melted.

RE: George Campbell
I have Inez Harding Campbell's death certificate.
Her parents were Daniel and Amarilla Swift Harding.
She is buried next to George McKenzie Campbell in Perry-McFarlen Cemetery.

If you would like it, I'll mail it to you. Contact me at len40tho@comcast.net.

No use transferring the site to me, as none are my relatives. I'm only entering Civil War vets right now.

RE: George Campbell
The name of the cemetery is actually Perry-McFarlen.
I'll be going to the Flint Public Library today, so I'll look in the genealogy section to see if Inez was married to George McKenzie Campbell.

No relative, but I have been documenting Civil War gravesites in Genesee, Lapeer, and Shiawassee Counties for the last seven years. Finally getting around to putting them on Find A Grave. Thanks.

Nicmarie,

You might also send an email to my cousin Brenda
Oviatt. I have included her email address here so you can contact her as well. She does all of the family geneology stuff. She can very possibly help you with a lot more of the answers that you may have pertaining to additional graves in the cemetery.

Her father, Donald Pennington is buried there as well. Her mother's name is Mary Alice, and is my aunt, my dad's youngest sister.

brendaloviatt@msn.com

Should you need anything else, please don't hesitate to send me an email.

I hope I have helped answer a few of your questions regarding some of the burials there.

RE: Martha & Lee Colley
No maam, you go right ahead and take as many photos as you need to.

Since you are family you don't need to ask, just take them as many as you need to.

My dad is buried to the south of grandma and grandpa, Jessie Colley.

Hi -

As of right now all the headstone photos in Montrose Cemetery are up to date. Another woman & I walked the cemetery and photographed all the headstones that were there.
Some could no longer be read & we posted those under "Unknown". Some are missing. So any deaths before 2009 are posted on findagrave.

I asked the township to look into setting up a fund to repair & replace headstones. So when someone dies a person could make contributions to that fund and hopefully there will some day be enough money to replace the older, missing & damaged stones.

Grace Younglove Hudson
RE: Lena Stevens Sutton
Mrs. William Vollick
Dies at 82
Mrs. Lena Sutton Younglove Vollick, 82 Brown City resident many years died Monday in Marlette Community hospital following an extended illness. Born May 19, 1876 in Ontario, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Stevens. Sept 18, 1948 she was married to William Vollick in Brown City.
Besides her husband she is survived by three grandsons, a sister, Mrs. Minnie Kenney, Brown City and a brother Morris
Stevens Pontiac.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday from the Carman Funeral Home. The Rev. A. J. Berry Baptist pastor officiated. Burial was in Lynn Township Cemetery St. Clair Co. I do not know where this was published as it was sent to me by a Younglove relative years ago. He could possibly be buried in Verona Cemetery or Gage town cemetery is another possibility.

RE: Susan Younglove
Hello NicMarie
I found Charles in my data base and Susie however I had no maiden name for Susie.
Charles Nelson Younglove is the son of Sarah A. Lloyd and William Alfred Younglove. Charles was born 11 Sep 1870 Township of Grant, Huron Co., Michigan.
source: Michigan Birth Records 1867- 1902.
I do have a picture of him.
I have found no death date on him. Most of his family is buried at Colfax Cm. Bad Axe, Huron Co., Michigan. I should think he would be buried there also. He had 7 brothers and 3 sisters. I did visit this cemetery about 19 years ago. The picture was taken by his nephew around that time. What I can make out "Susie wife of Chas. Younglove looks like 1865 or(1866) - 1930. Delete the pictures if you wish, I will be unable to go get a digital picture for you, sorry.
Charles was married 3 x. First wife was your Susan; 2nd. was Edna maiden name unknown. 3rd. was Lena Sutton according to her obit she married William Vollick in 1948. So Charles was probably deceased at that time. I will keep looking for a death date for you.
