RE: Sarah W. King Chenoweth
Judy, I am still reserching Sarah. I really
think that she is from my King family that
lived in Arkansas & in that area. I have checked
on Ancestry, there are a lot of trees, but no
one has parents listed for her. I will keep
looking and get back w/you.

Levi
Hampton family
Hi Judy,
Thank you for sharing you wonderful photos and history, I have a little different version when it comes to Andrew C Hampton and his children Flora & William T. Flora Viola and William Theodore Hampton as I have it were children to Mary Jane Franklin who was the daughter of David Franklin and Jane Conn Bilderback. Jane's second husband was Alex T Gray. I'd love to compare notes and family history as things get confusing to me when relatives marry inside the families so close.

Thank you again for all you do:)

Grandson of Flora Viola Hampton & William Young

Sarah W. King Chenoweth
Judy, would you happen to know who Sarah's
parents were? The reason I ask is, my grandmother's maiden name was King and they
lived in that area of Arkansas? Thanks for
any help. I'll do some checking on ancestry.

I first met him when he was monitoring the cafeteria at Central Middle School for a convention I was in charge of. That's when we figured out he knew my dad.

Thank You and I know Mom thought a lot of you all. God did not give me a mother and step-mother he blessed me with 2 mothers. I went to see her one weekend and she showed me the article about Pixie in the "Country Living" magazine I think it was. She was so proud. She told me that Pixie and I lived pretty close to each other. I live in Wakita, Oklahoma just south of the "border" lol. She was so lost without Dad and just really had no desire to live without him. I never seen two people more in love with each other than they were. I have saved Dad's page to my favorites as well as Mom's. I really enjoyed those pictures of her. I had not seen any of them before.

Re: Neil O'Banion
Hi Judy,
I am Neil's daughter. Was doing a little searching for family info online and came across Find a Grave. Everything was pretty accurate except we do not have a sister "Linda" Her name was Tina. If you got the info from Mozelle's obit, she called her niece Linda her daughter. Linda is a niece of Carl Hurley Sr.

RE: Mary Rucker
Judy;
thanks for the info. i'll read all i can.
yes, i love the "Big Sky" country of Montana. I wish i'd been here in my twenties. this is cattle country. i tried to make cattle my livelihood back in the 60's. it just wouldn't work in ca. i became a power lineman for a big gas and elect. co. in no.ca. it was a good job and living for my family, but i kept dabbling in horses and cattle. Montana is a beautiful state that has hung on to more of it's spirit of independence.
i'm going to see what i can find out about the descendants here in Mt. that you spoke of. i'm enjoying the different gatherings of cowboy poetry here in the northwest. if you're familiar with Baxter Black, you'll know what i'm speaking of.
if you'd like to hear some of what i'm doing, go to genoharper.com and listen.
thanks again, judy-----------Geno

RE: Mary Rucker
judy;
i appreciate the quick response. no i didn't know anything about the site. i haven't done any of this research for a while. something you might help me with is the introduction of the Cherokee into the family. when i first saw a pic. of M.E.C. i told her grand daughter, my dad's sister, that gr. gma looked like she had Indian features. my aunt's name was; Arrahwanna. it's a Cherokee phrase,or name. My dad's name was Ridge, like the Ridge family who was involved with the moving of the Cherokees to Ok. in 1838. Can you shed any light on the introduction of the Indian blood?
Arrahwanna denied any knowledge of the blood untill her death bed. She then called my cousin, her daughter to her side and said; " i've denied the Cherokee all these years, but we are part Cherokee"
Arrahwanna's youngest bro had confirmed my suspicion a few years before his sis died.
if you can shed any light on this, i'd be most grateful. I'm glad to have stumbled onto your name. I have two boys in their 40's and have always told them how important i beleave it is to know as much as you can about where you're from . thanks in advance for anything you can give me.---- my email is bullrhymer@hotmail.com

RE: Cave Springs Cemetery
Thanks so much for the information. I knew Cave Springs was a small town, but sometimes the location of a cemetery may be the town it is near. and it is actually located several miles from town with a lot of roads leading out of town (been there and done that). With your directions, we should be able to go right to the cemetery. I appreciate your help.

Cave Springs Cemetery
Hi, Judy. I saw your photo of the Cave Springs Cemetery, Cave Springs, Benton County, Arkansas. We are planning to visit the area soon and want to visit the cemetery to photograph some family members' graves, but I can't find where it is located - only Cave Springs, Benton County, Arkansas. Can you help me with the location, directions, or GPS coordinates? I will greatly appreciate any help you can give me.
