RE: James Reeve
Thanks but I am extremely distantly related and was only tracing this line out of interest and for updating a much larger project.

RE: Fred Fort
I did quite a bit of research, Their marriage record July 4 1895 in Gasconade Co MO, states Fred B Fort is of McKittrick, Montgomery County Missouri. That is where Frederick Bartlett Fort was born and living with his parents in the 1880 census. I also went through all the census records, and everything matches up. You are welcome to unlink them...Why he died in KC MO, and his birth date is wrong, why the record clerk states he was born in France, is anybody's guess, Iv'e seen worse. Maybe they separated before his death....I always try to be as accurate as possible. I try...

Walter Thompson (Memorial# 128849342)

Are you able to tell me any more about this Walter Thompson? Do you know where he was hospitalized or have any other hints to his whereabouts?

I am not sure if this is the Walter Thompson I am searching for. I am looking for a Walter C. Thompson (1877-1953?). I found a death record in California for December 21st of that year, and the description fits him, but nothing positively links it to his family. He had family in Kansas City and was from the general area originally, but moved to California at some point. I believe his wife died there between 1930 and 1940. I could see him moving back to KC in his old age and living at a home, but I'm not sure. I could not find a memorial for him in California.

Any help would be appreciated.

Logan Thompson

RE: James Oran
I added the name of his parents on your memorial. What do you mean about adding family? I do have his family tree back 4 generations.

Thank you so much for your work. Because of it we have found my mother's long lost cousin. May he rest in peace.

Hi, Yes, I do have ancestry and can look up Eliza's death certificate. She is not my direct line, but I tend to wander all over my family tree. I am related to her through her grandfather, John N. Campbell. I am descended through John's daughter, Christianna Campbell Clark.

Ruth Smith
Leeds Cemetery
Hello - I just wanted to thank you and tell you how touched I was when I read your bio. Just recently, I linked Robert Thornton to his wife Oma Thornton who is buried here in Cape Girardeau, Mo. When your memorial page for him came up, I understood about the Leeds Cemetery. We have a similar situation with my husband's grandmother, Martha Buck Smith, who died in the State Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. After many years of trying to find when she died and where she is buried, we finally just placed a monument for her next to her husband who was buried in a rural cemetery in Arkansas. We made several trips to Arkansas from Missouri and many phones calls, letters, visits to state offices, but the only answers we got were: she could be buried on the old hospital grounds, she could be buried at Benton, Ark. at the new hospital grounds because bodies were removed but records were not kept, she could be buried in the area of ground set aside as a memorial for patients in the vacinity of the Ark. Game and Fish Commission building or - and the worse, her body could be under the Wilbur Mills Freeway in Little Rock. That is why your work and "mission" to help others was so very touching. Thanks again.

RE: George Fausset
Thank you for your offer to transfer George Fausset to me, but that's not the reason I sponsored his memorial. When a memorial is sponsored, you can add more information that may be found later, or pictures, obits, etc. It is up to you what to do, but please don't feel obligated to do so. Again, thank you and have enjoy find-a-grave, as I sure do.

Hi there, Would you be so kind as to use some (or all) of your photo requests to help us finish up FLNC? We're so close, 97 percent. Any requests that you can submit from my virtual cemetery Ft Leavenworth P would be most helpful. How's life where ever you are? Thanks in advance. Mary Ann

Thank you so much for posting this memorial - I have just yesterday found this person to be a possible GGGGrand Uncle. The parents names are the same. I have been searching for more information on his parents, since his father has such a common name that it is hard to follow. But they are from Ohio, so that is not where you are working.
Thanks again! Hoping this will give me another lead!

RE: George Fausset
Thank you for your offer to transfer George Fausset, but only if you want to. It's not necessary
by any means and that's not why I sponsor the memorial. When a memorial is sponsored, it just means that there can be more information added to it and or, pictures, I believe up to 20 if I am not wrong. I just run across different ones along the way and enjoy helping others to find something out that maybe they didn't know. It's fun and keeps me out of the stores shopping!

You created a memorial for Frank Brainard at Jackson Country Home Cemetery. I posted a photo request and another member stated that the cemetery no longer exists? Do you know anything about that or where to find info about it?

Harry Stepp
Thank you for creating a virtual cemetery for my grand uncle Harry Stepp. Thank you for your work in documenting the poor souls who resided for years at this home. Harry had encephalitis and lived in the home since he was 18. He had a 4th grade education and could read and write. His parents died in 1912 and 1916 and he came to the home in 1916. Harry died in 1941 and is listed in the 1940 census in the Jackson County Home. I appreciate your efforts on his behalf and on behalf of the other residents of the Jackson County (MO) Home. I can only imagine the sad life they all led. Kathie S.
