My pleasure, but did you see my message about this being a duplicate memorial? In fact, the picture was already available on the other memorial.

RE: Thanks for the recognition
Hey Orrin,

Please accept my most humble apology for the slow response.

As far as I know, there are no Florian surnames in my family tree. In fact, I am not related to any of the memorials that I manage.

Unfortunately, I'm not understanding exactly what you're trying to tell/ask me about Donald. I see that there is a Donald Louis Florian Jr., born/died in 1944 and interred at Glendale, CA., and then Donald L. Florian, born 1920/died 1991 that is interred at Mount Carmel in Sycamore. There is also a Donald Ransom Florian interred in Connecticut, born 1927/died 2012, but it doesn't appear that he ever lived anywhere other than the east coast. Obviously, there could be other Donald Florians that haven't yet been listed on Find-A-Grave.

Regards, Steve

Photo of Katherine Thompson's Stone
Dear Orrin,
I can't thank you enough for filling my photo request of Katherine Thompson's and the Thompson family Stone.
I have been wanting this photo for a long time and I truly appreciate you taking the time to go out to the Cemetery and take the photo. She was my GG Aunt. I have been working to link her with her 12 siblings. You made my dream come true today. All my best, Big Thank You, Kathy

Thompson
I created memorials for Charles, George and Joe Thompson, all were brothers from Marion Illinois. Also added a memorial for Mary Kruse,
a sister in the same family. We learn as we go. Jim

Orrin, seems you are on a Thompson roll. A month ago I shot Maude Thompson for you at Greenwood Cemetery. I forgot to tell you next to Maude was three other Thompsons, Charlie, George and Joe. They do not have memorials yet. Are you interested in them? Jim

You are most welcome. Due to all the rain we received this week, I was not able to find the others since they must be under water. I will get them once it dries out a bit.

King and Robison Family
Hi Orrin,
I know the Westland and King side as I am related to the Westland side (King is the married no blood relationship for me side). What Robison family do you know as I am related to Robison's.

I have Ancestry and found information that way and my Aunt Bev has given me information too on the King side. She knew Mary Ellen Westland King very well.

Hello,
I just sent you a request to fix her birth date and gave you the wrong county, it should be Barage County, Michigan as the birth place.

Edit Error for Schmidt.
Hey Orrin,

You are going to get a edit notice for Lenna Schmidt (Find A Grave 104401944). I was trying to link her to husband Clifford (Find A Grave 119639149), but I’m afraid that I messed up and linked her to herself. Find A Grave won’t let me correct my error, so I thought I should send you a note to let you know.

Thanks, Steve

RE: Thanks for the picture
Hey Orrin,

You are very welcome.

She is buried next to her parents (Joseph on the left, Lolah in the middle, and Bonnie on the right.) I see that you shot the photo of Joseph’s headstone. So, if you remember where that was, you know where Bonnie is buried.

I could have sworn that I sent you a note about the search for Louisa Ottman, but I see now that I never got it done.

I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to find Louisa because there is no record of her at: http://dekalb.illinoisgenweb.org/Cemeteries/Elmwood_files/elmwood_O.html. This list was generated in the 1980’s by people actually walking the cemetery and writing down the names they found there. I figured that if they didn’t find her ~30 years ago, the odds of me finding her today were remote.

But just incase, I went over to the Sycamore library and had a look at the official Elmwood records. Sure enough, Louisa was listed in a plot next to the road within about 50 feet of the cemetery’s east entrance. The reason there was no listing for Louisa at the illinoisgenweb site is because there is no family stone indicating last name, only stones with first names. There are stones on either side of Louisa’s that are made of the same material and in the same manner as Louisa’s with the names George, Charles, Mary, Russell, and Lida E.

Cheers! Steve

Question about parents
Hello. I was wondering if you are positive of the parents on memorial no. 25902063 Lorena wells. I have some Wells that I think are her parents. William H and Ida Rosaline (Palmer) Wells. No. 1327200401 and No. 132720401. Thank you for checking it out for me.

You posted a photo of grave stone for Rev. Harold Nilges. It is a joint marker with his sister. She just died today and I am making a page for her. May I post your photo to her page?
I'm not related, and not seeking to have this transferred to me.
Thank you.

RE: Thanks for your diligence...
You are welcome, Orrin. Sorry it did not pan out. Given no (known, written) records of Morses in this cemetery and that Isaac Morse was about ten years old, is it conceivable that he was buried in the other cemeteries where Morses predominated? Seems odd to have a child removed from parents and siblings. Let me know if I can track down another.

Brad
