|Elizabeth||WOLF & WOLFE|
I was just browsing through FindAGrave and saw these post regarding the WOLF & WOLFE spellings on this family's tombstones. They are my husband's direct line and the spelling was changed by Alfred Jacob WOLF(E) due to a church split in the early 1900's. Some built a new church (Pleasant View chapel) and added the 'e'. Others remained at Sattazahan's Church and did not add the 'e'. Members of A. J.'s father's (Jacob & Caroline Leffler Wolf) line still have both spelling in families who are related. A. J., whose parents were Samuel and Elamanda, was my husband's great-grandfather. Spelling should probably be displayed as it is on the tombstone with a note that it can also be with an 'e' in the same family unit at times.

Thank you for contacting me and contributing Gertrude Binkley's obituary for me to add to her memorial. Are you connected to her in any way? You also added your source for the obituary from HERALD OF TRUTH.[HERALD OF TRUTH - Volume IV, Number 10 - Oct. 1867, Page 159] What kind of publication is that - a newspaper? a Mennonite publication of some sort? I hope to hear from you soon. Again, thank you so much for your contribution.

I saw there was a long story on Peter Kreiser's memorial page and I was curious where it was from. I read the newspaper articles about the incident but this seemed a little different. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the kind action to transfer Clara's memorial to my care, especially since I didn't know exactly how she worked into the puzzle. That of itself is another debt I don't know how I could repay. The information you passed on was amazing. None of the family even knew Adam had a second wife, that is of those I have to talk to. You are amazing!

|Linda Doile Morris||Memorials|
Linda, I went back and took another look and I am very very sorry. It seems you took a file that someone else had left. I am really sorry. It is so hard to deal with memorials when someone has done that. I already have someone in place to take mine should I die suddenly. Always a possiblity you know. I realize I upset you but when I left that, I was being snotty because I thought no one was there to read it. Goes to show you should behave always.
