Joseph Raynor private graveyard-are you still active?
Regarding the Joseph Raynor cemetery in Manorville-----------------------------------
was wondering if you could put something on the front page of the Joseph Raynor Cemetery in Manorville NY about this cemetery; This information I received from the Patchogue Medford Lbrary and it mentions 12 unmarked graves and others with rough stones at the head ------------------------

This is the Cemetery of Joseph Raynor Jr born 1764, son of Joseph Raynor born 1713 CT and 2nd wife Jemima Dayton. Joseph Raynor Jr born 1764 and wife Phebe Robinson and 3 of their children
are the 5 stones that are on this cemetery on Findagrave.

"Joseph Raynor private graveyard in the woods, about 400 feet north of the old home of the late DeWitt Clinton Raynor, now owned by the Duvall Estate, north of Brookfield Street and northeast of "Sunny Corner" Manorville. Besdies the 5 people with stones, there are also 12 unmarked graves in this cemetery, besides the 5 noted in the record, all evidently members of the Raynor Family, while others have rough field stones at their heads".

Are you still taking care of this cemetery? I have tried to leave edit info for you but am wondering if you are inactive. Can you email me at forjets@aol.com ------
Thank you

Jim Ferris
Thanks
No, I do not have a photo of Peck's headstone. I believe the inscription came from the list where I got his name from....too much time has pasted to remember.

Raynor Graveyard
Its practically in our backyard. We ride the trails on horseback very often. Its very sad to see it not being taken care of . How many graves are known to be there? Where was the house to those who are buried there? I couldn't find much information about it.

Raynor graveyard, Manorville
I remember passing this cemetery when I used to hike the powerlines. Its good to see that you posted some pictures of it. I still have many pictures of Eastern LI cemeteries that are not listed on FindAGrave.

john Hall
Raynor graveyard, Manorville
My name is John Hall, years ago I attempted to repair this graveyard and it was a losing battle. I never knew that anyone knew where this graveyard was. How it you find it?. I've since restored the Wells graveyard on River Road Northeast of Conneticut Avenue.
