|Gina Florentine||Priscilla Hixon|
I was wondering if you are related to my Great grandmother Priscilla Mae Hixon. This was her maiden name and she was born in Tampico, Illinois on Feb. 9, 1879. I only have her death certificate saying her parents were Charles Emory Hixon and Agnes Bacon. No other information was given. I can't find any information on either of her parents, I hope you can help me find them.

I'd sent with tt the first time, then discovered it was ttt but still got it back.
Send me an E-mail to my address and I think then I can reply and get obits to you. If not, I can always snail mail! Thanks

Good news - the person who had scanned and sent the obit originally has found a typed copy that is readable so I will be sending it to you.
Some internet servers think my address is spam so if you don't get it check your junk mail.

|CatheaC||Elizabeth Harris Hixon|
Did you ever find out who Elizabeth's parents might have been? I worked with her great great granddaughter many years ago and we could never find out although we believed it could be Dabney Harris from Lawrence Co IN. Norma died without knowing the burial location of her Elizabeth. Thank you! Elizabeth's memorial - 79236388

Thank you for the info, oh how sad. I have verified her parents also through her death certificate. She had been married before to
a Raymond Aurelius Walker who died in 1937.

LOL Thank you for your comments. Yes, I get carried away with my lines, as you can see, as well. I'm glad it's helpful to others.

Re A.C. Hixon
Tom, I don't recall seeing any information as to any connection that my lineage would have to A.C. Hixon at Summit View. However if the Nancy Ellen Hixon that you referred to is the one at Claiborne cemetery in Sullivan county Indiana then she is my great grandmother. Is any of your Hixon linage the Hixon, Hixson, Hickson's that came through Greene county Tenn around 1800?

Martin Hixson middle name is Walker, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I fixed it. Hopefully we will get a photo of the gravestone later.

|Mike||Dorothy M. Hixson|
Just to let you know that I posted a couple of photos of Dorothy Hixson's marker. It is quite weathered, and I enhanced the photo as much as possible to make it more readable. The inscription is: Dorothy M Hixson, 1901-1901.
You might want to correct the dates on the memorial. Here is a link to some other information on Dorothy that you may find helpful: http://gisweb.ci.boulder.co.us/website/parks/parks_columbia/columbia.htm?IDNUM=2857

Your welcome! As far as the duplicate, the system does that sometimes. I did find some other Hixson's. I'll try and get them posted this evening. Don't know if they are yours.
