|ER||RE: Austin Hartwell Johnson|
Oh my gosh, you answered very quickly! And I thank you for this information. I will see what or if I can find anything about Jack Fields in Florida, though he may be passed on as well . . .
I'm fascinated to hear that you grew up next door to Mr. Johnson. I would love to interview you about your recollections of him, if you are willing.
I went to Furman and got introduced to people in the Monetta section by Mr. Jerrold Watson of Ridge Springs, who I found through the Furman alumni directory. He was such a kind man and I know that his family seems to have dominated the founding and life of the town for many generations.
Let me know if you think you'd be willing to let me ask you a few questions about Mr. AH Johnson.
Thank you again, so much.

I'm writing from Orangeburg and am looking for living descendants, hopefully direct, of Austin Hartwell Johnson. Am working on a book in which Mr. Johnson figures. Thank you for your reply! Elizabeth R

The original person that put his parents on Find A Grave is deceased and I am not able to correct his incorrect cemetery where they are buried. I have put them in myself in the correct cemetery and will send Rubin's parents through the edit tab. Please link them for me. Thanks in advance!

I added the obit to the Ridge Spring memorial since the obit says burial in Ridge Spring. There is also a memorial for her in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church #50704411. You created that memorial. I must carve out some time and get back to Ridge Spring to finish the photos. So many of the stones have already been lost to erosion and are not readable. Merry Christmas.

There should be a memorial to Jesse in University Grove, since at least a part of him is interred there and he has a plaque. I will create the memorial and move the picture of the plaque to the new memorial. This memorial will point at yours for the full story.

|Rick Scott||RE: Spann Cemetery|
It isn't that I don't know the birth and death dates as I have a lot of the death certificates. All I'm trying to do is to just verify first of all that they are truly buried in Spann Cemetery as it indicates on the death certificates. I never put anyting into my research unless I can prove to the best of my ability that the information is 100% true. I will keep it in mind when you go to Spann Cemetery in October to get you a list of the Ready Family names that I know are indicated as being buried there. Then maybe as you walk around the cemetery you can just let me know if they are really there.

Photos would be nice but all I really need to verify the birth and death dates of the Ready family buried in Spann Cemetery. From what I have uncovered there should be about 15 to 20 Ready's buried in the Spann Cemetery. Do you know of any website or anyone that may have a listing of the burials in the Spann Cemetery?

|Rick Scott||Spann Cemetery|
I see that you list various grave sites for the Spann Cemetery. I was wondering if you have access to a complete listing of the burials located there? I've been trying to find a website that shows the burials in the Spann cemetery but still haven't located one. I researching the Ready family for a friend and a lot of his ancestors are buried in this cemetery. I would like to be able to get a listing of the listings, preferrably the birth and death dates so I can include it in my material.
Thanks in advance for your help,
