I tried again to locate Minnie, but all I could find was Sallie, wife of Hiram and Newton Helm.
I see they already have photos on their Find A Grave page.

There are so many of these old stones that can't be read anymore I'm afraid I won't be able to find her.

Nancy & Minnie Helm
I'm a member of Find A Grave member #46839913 and live In Blue Springs, MO about 7 miles from Oak Grove, MO where Minnie is buried. I take care of some of the photos in the Blue Springs Cemetery and grew up in Oak Grove. I saw where there were 16 photo requests for that cemetery so I thought I'd drive down today. The funeral home there didn't feel like he had time to look these up so he referred me to a book published in 1984. I drove to Independence, MO to our very nice genealogy library and they had a copy of the book giving the tombstone names and their general locations. Of the 16 the only one I found was hopefully your Minnie. The following is what was listed:

"Miinie B. dau J H G & N J d. Apr 9, 1875 (Broken) piece of the tombstone d. 4 _____ 1879" This book was compiled 30 years ago so I'm not sure what I'll find, but hopefully something.

There is also a Joseph H. 1846-1926 and a Nancy J. wf J.H.G. d 22/ stone is patched & broken off ( from the lady who compiled the book she states "from my record I have Nancy Jane Parker wife of Joseph H G Helm b Aug 22, ______ d Aug 27, 1879

I can take photos of all of these next trip if it will help you.

Darle Harrison pic

I went to Hazel Ridge Cemetery on Friday and was not able to find a gravestone for this person. I also have an index of gravestones to the cemetery and this person is not listed there, although there are many Harrisons. This doesn't mean there is no burial there, just that there may be no stone, as the index was compiled by volunteers from the Walworth County Genealogical Society, based on them walking the cemetery and recording the headstones. You may want to see about contacting the sexton there and finding out the plot and maybe go from there.

Carl John Lightford and Olive Lightford
Dear Evangeline: I sent you a message regarding Olive's grave being unmarked and just restating the information which you had obtained from the cemetery office: That Olive is in the same grave with Leona Lightford Goehri and Carl John Lightford (three in one plot!). Also, I created a memorial for Carl John Lightford, added the photographs I took for you, and transferred him into your loving family hands. I do hope your husband is recovering well from his awful fall. Kind regards, Bridey Light, Humboldt County, CA

Olive Lightford
Dear Evangeline, Just to let you know again, Olive Lightford is definitely NOT in the area where Carl John Lightford and Leona Grace Lightford Goehri are buried. When I visited to take photographs for you today, I searched their general vicinity again for any other Lightford or Goehri individuals -- nada. Carl John Lightford and Leona Grace Lightford Goehri are sharing Grave 32 (you can see the photographs I took on their memorials tonight); Leona was cremated.

I have claimed your photograph request for Olive, but I will need her grave address please, because you have her in the same plot as Carl and Leona and she cannot be there. It would be good if you could please contact Don the administrator again at the cemetery office and request a location for Olive, if indeed she is buried at Sunset Memorial Park in Eureka, CA? I have doubts as to Olive being anywhere within Block 36, unless she is in an unmarked grave within that block (which is a large block of graves). Kind regards, Bridey Light

Leona Grace Woodmansee Lightford Goehri and Carl John Lightford
Dear Evangeline! I have added grave marker and lot shot photographs to Leona's memorial (have sent you edits for Leona, using the Edits tab) and then Carl's memorial. I created a memorial for Carl John Lightford this evening, and, after adding everything I possibly could (photographs and GPS link for satellite view included), I have transferred his care to you, his family. Kind regards, Bridey Light, Humboldt County, CA

Good job Evangeline. I had lots of faith in you. I will go and look at the memorial. I don't believe you've gotten management yet for Fred. That person only will transfer if you go through the edit. Thanks' for keeping me informed.

I called Cheryle and left message we are looking for Olive Grace's resting place. I will let you know right now if I get word back from Cheryle.

I have forgotten Fred's mother's name. If you want to give it to me I will help you look. Fred did have a son, but he was closer to his grandson Tim.

Mirical Mile Tim. No he isn't Fred's grandson Tim. You might be able to find Fred's grandson in the phone book. I probably still have an old address for him. Miricle Mile strikes me as though he is a hoarder and very rude. He hasn't even connected Fred with Doris. I am sure since you are family you could appeal to find a grave and get management.

Let me know. They were the greatest people.

I posted a short piece of biography on Doris Woodmansee Memorial# 24488826. It might give you insight to them.

Doris Woodmansee is interned right next to him

The manager of the memorial has not connected their memorials.

I am hoping that you will request management of their memorial's so as to connect the family.

Doris and Fred were cremated.

My best wishes, Linda.

It does make sense to me the first wife buried in N. California. Fred had told me with the crash of 1929 his father moved the family to California.

Do you believe that Roy is Fred's father? He said the only one that was left that he knew of was Kenny Woodmansee. I found a Kenny too. d. I think in 2004 Fred said he was a cousin. I don't have management over Fred and Doris memorial's. I asked for it quite a while back but got a pompous response. If you find it accurate could you connect them some how? Fred would really like that.

Thank you so much for the information and quick response.

William Leroy "Roy" Woodmansee 25663437
In reference to Fred Leroy Woodmansee 24488793 I have good reason to believe this is Roy's son. I was Fred and his wife Doris's neighbor for years and Fred would talk about his father. Doris 24488826 passed away before Fred and Fred wanted me to take him to Joplin to be buried with his father. There were three children of Roy's. He mentioned his father being married twice his first wife had died. He would say that every time he saw a picture of Earnest Hemmingway he would think of his father because his father would always wear a hat like that.

Mayflower Pilgrim 332
Clement Hoesch
He was a veteran so I put him in this Fairview cemetery hoping someone in this area will look to see what happened to him. If you put someone in UNKNOWN, they get lost and causes duplicate sites.
I found Charlene Hoesch thru obit in New Mexico along with her son. Her obit is excellent naming her brother Virgil and her parents. Richard.

You're welcome, Ms Bass; I hope you find the right data to determine if this Virgil Hoesch is the one being searched for!

I suppose its possible she was in Oak Grove until her husband died and then was moved to Blue Springs to be with him. Oh well, as you say we won't know for sure.
