Thank you so much for the photos of Elizabeth Edmundson and William McClelland. I know how frustrating it can be,searching cemeteries for a grave.
Thanks again for all you do.

Hey Dennis, I sent you all the Tucker's I have at Glenwood ... figured most of them are either your family or at least you'd know more about them then I do. :-)

Hi Dennis,
I think I finally got the memorials sorted out for Charles Norris, Fannie Dickison and her parents. We may have to wait a few days for Russ to update the changes I submitted for Amanda...she was his memorial creation.
I found Samuel Dickison in the Annapolis National Cemetery #33012105, so I linked him with his daughter Fannie and with his wife Amanda (once Russ updates).
I also added maiden names to the ladies, and Amanda's first married name to her account as well.

Check back to you ancestors after the turkey day festivities are past!

Hope this all works well for you.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks so much. The sexton assured me that Rev. Sharp was not there but there is a great picture on his site and I didn't think it was wrong. Thank you very much.

Odd Fellow's in Milford
Hey Dennis, Actually Milford Community Cemetery took over the operation of Odd Fellow's since the Odd Fellow's folks were unable to continue maintaining it. Odd Fellow's is still there "with the same name" and will remain that way as far as I know.

Milford Community, as I'm sure you are aware, is the one on the highway.

Hope that helps ....

Transfer and a big thank you
Hello again Dennis,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:
Ronda Jones Campbell # 70464620
to my care.
I have successfully connected him with his parents, seven of his twelve siblings, his wife and five children.
As I receive more information, I will add it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,

Charles F. Widdoes
Re Charles F. Widdoes:
Thanks for pointing out the duplication. I created two memorials because there were two gravestones, so I thought these were two different people. I am not related to the Widdoes, I just live in the neighborhood and took the pictures. I assume now both memorials are the same person, and I erased one duplicate and put both pictures up with the same memorial. I hope this is correct.

With heartfelt thanks
Elizabeth Widdoes was my grandmother. I did not meet her as she passed 1 year before my birth. This photo is the only photo I have of her. Thank you so much for sharing this with me.

Most respectfully,

Holly Widdoes Snyder

RE: William Clayton, Memorial# 113462733
We are in agreement, Thanks! I'm going with 26 Jan 1880 in my records. The confusion was mine, both about the memorial number and the day of the month which I mis-typed in my message to you.

That small Delaney cemetery has at least 5 of my husband's ancestors, so your photos have been very helpful in our research. I like to imagine them attending the same small church back in the 1800s...

William Clayton, Memorial# 113462733
Hi Dennis,

Thank you for the photos of William Clayton's headstone, both before and after the damage.

When I look at your photos, particularly the damaged one, the death date looks like:
JANY 16TH 1880.

JANY seems like an unusual abbreviation, but that's what my eyes are telling me. Do you agree? The memorial page lists the date of death as May 26, 1880.

Thanks for the additional Lusby memorials that you transferred. I have linked up many of them this evening but not sure about a few. Will research them and update as I can. Thanks. Steve Keefe

Thanks very much!
Thanks for the great photos of Ann E (Porter) Lusby as well as her sons Zebulon Porter and William Henry Clay Lusby (and William's wife Milcah). Thanks for tranferring the new Lusby memorials to me as well. I have done some work on these tonight and linked them together, and also added some other relationships including Zebulon Porter Lusby's 2 wives and an offspring. You will see an edit request for Samuel Wills Lusby, son of Zebulon P an Mary Eldridge (Wills) Lusby, for relationship links, birth date and location, and first name. Thanks again for taking the time to post these photos. Steve Keefe

RE: USCT Headstones
Hi Dennis,

Luckily very few people have said no. The OVERWHELMING majority have no problem as long as they're given proper credit for the photo. I think the issue of people just randomly taking photos is wrong & that's why I ask. Plus it does give more exposure to both sites!

Thank you,

RE: John Wesley Taylor
You know, I have been trying to make a connection to the Chester County Taylors for quite a while, but can't find the missing link.

Thank you so much for the memorials! If I can ever return the favor, don't hesitate to ask!

John Wesley Taylor
Hi Dennis,

Thanks for your reply. I double checked the memorial I set up for JW and you are absolutely right... It's the same person, I just selected the wrong cemetery. I apologize and I'll just delete mine.

Yes, John Taylor is a terribly common name. JW's father John was married to a Mary Black. which is even worse.

Thanks for posting the memorial. I appreciate your work.

Thanks again.
Cindy Taylor

John W Taylor, Cecilton

The memorial you created for John W. Taylor in Cecilton, MD is a duplicate of one I set up for him. He is my husband's 2nd great grand uncle. His middle name was Wesley.

Are you related to the Taylor's by any chance, or did you just happen to be taking photos in Cecilton?

Cindy Taylor
