|Steven Gruenberg0||RE: Samuel E. Srope|
You are very welcome.
I can't recall whether there were any other Sropes in the immediate vicinity but I seem to remember seeing others within the cemetery. If there is someone in particular you are looking for, I can look again the next time I'm out that way.

I went out to Ellet Cemetery today and was looking around. A fellow from the church came out when he saw me - he had the cemetery book. Nancy is in Sec. 13, lot 3, grave 2. She is in between Lydia and John, but her grave has never been marked. I can get an overall shot of the plot if you would like. Let me know.

I've never been to that cemetery (although I pass by it all the time); but I am on vacation right now, so will go over and take a look. Yes, I did see the census entry after I sent the first note, and decided to try and get a more accurate death date for her. I just happened across it because of the outstanding photo request- because of the other photos on there I got curious. So glad I could help. :)

|shakti||Jim Schropp Inappropriate memorial to my father|
These are the findagrave rules:
"If the memorial in question IS A DIRECT RELATIVE within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents) to you and the original submitter IS NOT DIRECT family, then your wishes SUPERSEDES theirs under our "FAMILY FIRST" policy.
If they REFUSE TO TRANSFER your relative to you, contact the administration and we will work on it for you. "
I wait for this memorial to be pulled down or transferred to me. I will not be issued ultimatums by you stating I must be nice to you for you to do the right thing. You should never have posted this memorial without asking permission, you should never have taken all the people from my private family tree that I extended to you, and you have no right to determine whether or not we care enough for our father to make a memorial to him in a way you see fit.
I wont be bullied into "accepting" your terms. You are in the wrong. You need to close this down, because you should not have control over my father's memorial. You never knew my father, so you have no idea of how deeply your misuse of his name would have offended him, as it does me in his place. These memorial should be reserved for family and not for total strangers who seek to place their stamp on memorials for their own personal reasons, Jim Schropp.

If the memorial in question IS A DIRECT RELATIVE within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents) to you and the original submitter IS NOT DIRECT family, then your wishes supersede theirs under our "Family First" policy.
If they refuse to transfer your relative to you, contact the administration and we will work on it for you.
I continue to wait for you to either transfer this m"memorial" to me, or for you to pull it down Jim Scropp.

You were correct on the spelling of the last name. I did some research & indeed it is "Bensinger" not "Brensinger". Thanks for helping me get this memorial correct.

|shakti||More on this memorial|
Here are the guidelines:
What if a member will not transfer my relative to me?
If the memorial in question is a direct relative within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents) to you and the original submitter is not direct family, then your wishes supersede theirs under our "Family First" policy. If they refuse to transfer your relative to you, contact the administration and we will work on it for you.
Please remember that there are thousands of contributors to Find A Grave, and it is highly likely that some of those contributors will actually be part of your family tree and share some of your ancestors.
Also, the goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it

|shakti||This memorial not endorsed by immediate family|
Jim has procured photos from my private ancestry tree and posted them with an obituary he found online which contains several errors about my father's life. I have requested that he pull down this memorial because he is not immediate or even near immediate family, he doesnt have a photo of the grave because he doesnt live in the area where my father's grave is, and he has posted all of this without asking me if it was alright or appropriate. I hav e written him on several occasions and he has'nt responded to my requests. Because he is not respecting the wishes of the immediate family, I find myself resorting to this kind of posting.

Her maiden name is Brensinger (she is kin to me), the mis-spelled it on the obit, but if you read further down to her brother's name, it is spelled correctly. Thanks KimH :-)

While at the Quinby cemetery this weekend planting flowers on my great-grandparents' gravesite and others, I took the photo and filled your photo request. Since Orrin Daniel Culver, memorial #92261083 and Corintha (Parker) Culver, memorial #92261197 are my great-grandparents, I would really appreciate if you would so kindly transfer their memorials to me. Since I live within a mile from the cemetery and am the one who physically maintains their graves, I would also love to maintain them on findagrave. Thanks.

|Linda Claxton||McNees at Mt Hope Cem|
I stopped at the office yesterday. They weren't able to locate a Malcolm McNee. I uploaded more photos of the McNee markers. It looked like there was room to the left of John but there wasn't a marker. They also had Eula listed under Lula but the dates were an exact match. Facing John & Cordelia's markers, John & his wife Eula are burried one row down and 6 graves to the right. Sorry it's not much help.

|Linda Claxton||RE: Cordelia McNee|
I know that John 1841-1924 and Cordelia are buried next to each other and that John 1890-1964 and Eula are next to each other but I don't remember how close they were to each other. The next time I go to Mt Hope I will stop at the office and ask about Eula and Malcom plus confirm plot locations for all. I'm not related to the McNees and like transfering to family.
I'll let you know what I find out.

|Linda Claxton||Cordelia McNee|
I have updated her memorial. I was wondering if you can confirm a connection to a husband John McNee 1841-1924 and a son John McNee 1890-1964 and son's wife Eula, also buried next to her. Happy to transfer if she is your family.

|Berks-Dauphin Roots||Gertrude Templin|
d. Dec 31, 1940
According to obit, wife of Clarence Templin, nee Keffer, stepdaughter of William Schropp of Mt. Penn.
Living with her grandparents George & Rosa Hagy in 1910 & 1920 (Reading). So I assume she is the daughter of Mabel (Hagy) Schropp & Mr Keffer?
