This is actually a duplicate of 72156618. Since most memorials at Green Hills were submitted to Find-A-Grave via a massive spread sheet, they're very flexible in deleting duplicates. I'll fulfill your request and let you work out the memorials.

|Christopher Beard||RE: Elbert Haley/Priscilla Rimes|
Hi. I do not know what you are referring to. I checked and have very little info on these people in my data base. I could not find any document to prove Priscilla's maiden name. I have only seen it listed as Rimes in several Family trees on Ancestry.com. Sorry I can not be of any further help.

I don't understand what you're trying to tell me regarding Martha, wife of John Meredith Hutcheson. Yes, I know Martha Tyson married his brother, Thomas. But this Martha, whose maiden name I do not know, married John M. I have 5 sons for this couple: John, Enoch, Aaron, James Lewis and Joshua.

Are you a descendent of the Strebeck Family? If not, then I would assume that asking for them to be transferred to a family member would not be a big deal (and would be very appreciate by the family).

Yes, that is how I knew where to look in the cemetery. Do you live close to Limestone County? Maybe you can come a look her up. Best of luck! Chip

There is a Limestone Cemetery book in the Grosebeck Library. Volunteers like us in 1970's and 80's walked the cemeteries and made a record of the people in the cemetery at that time. So I knew who was buried next to her or at least near by. After I cut the grass I found only those who she was near. Whatever was there is gone today. Some people are replacing love ones marker today with small inexpensive marker. Hope that helps. Chip

No I do not recall, there is a book in the Grosebeck Library which has cemetery recording from about 25 yrs ago. Time and grass can do alot to a head stone. They have been helpful for me. Next time I go I will look for you.

I noticed that you had some information on my Great-Grandfather Francis Marion Hyde.
I started several years ago tracing the Hyde family. We had finally found his grave a few years ago - unfortunately it was too late for my mother to see it, but I was glad to know where it was. His wife and several sons are buried at Hill City Baptist Church Cemetery near Resaca & Sugar Valley.
Are you a descendant or related in some way? I am always interested in talking with someone who is in the family. I don't have a lot of info - but I do have his Civil War records. If you have additional information, I would love to know about it.
Thanks so much,

Thanks for the identification and I have added it to the photo. Wish I knew who the other unknown lady is. 1958 is now a long time ago...

As a note of interest, the plot next to Mr/Mrs Billion is that of Kemmons Wilson and family. He was the founder of the Holiday Inn chain.

Oops, I didn't create that memorial, which probably explains why it doesn't match the picture. Guess you will have to contact Robert Miller to get it corrected.
